Ahhh, This brings back memories. The days of waiting 20 minutes to play Robocop on my friends Spectrum.
btw, I am having a minor issue with the instant .tap loading.
I have set zxsp to default to a 128k model. but when i try and load AY Riders demo "you are adult.tap" it sudden;ly switches to 48k and wont play it. The only way i can make it work is to go through the laborious steps of playing the tape. :(
I just checked the Cycling'74 forums and obviously they screwed it up so that Sunflower 1.2 runs on most MacIntels but not on PPCs. So, if you are on a PPC Mac and you still have a backup of v1.1, revert to that version until they fixed it. In fact, it seems that the only change is that v1.2 is supposed to be an "Universal" Binary, which it is obviously not... :P
If you're using a PPC Mac, DO NOT UPDATE to v1.2 yet! (Version 1.2)
PO60T The best looking, most mac-like IRC client available for OSX.
I love the customisability of Colloquoy. There are some nice themes from Adium that would look good in IRC.
Some features I would like to see in the next version.
-fserve support, !triggers and stuff.
-handle the user list in a draw like Conversation with the Sidebar Window interface.
-set colour of your name. (maybe you can do this already?)
-Fix file transfer. If you clear a finished transfer, the feedback of the remaining downloads stops updating even though the file is still DL. If you want to refresh you have to keep clicking the clear button.
PO60T Not as pretty as some of the other clients for the mac, but what it lacks in the looks department it sure as hell makes up for it in the reliability and functionality.
This is THE most functional client on the macintosh. You can configure it on many different levels. Your casual user will be happy with it (although probably if you are only a casual user you might be better off with transmission). Intermediate users will be happy with the ability to set individual upload download speeds per torrent and the ability to download only specific files from torrents. Advanced users will be happy with the dozens of plugins and other more advanced configurations. (Version 2.4.0.2)
PO60T Subtitle rendering is still quite bad. Overlapping subtitles are common and unreadable. The display of the text is ok but not great. Subtitles are much better in MPlayer. Will there be any progress in the handling of subtitles? (Version 0.8.5)
PO60T Updated to the universal binary of EE fine. (Just rember not to try and use the coupon code as a serial, instead use it to register for a new serial)!
Once again this is great addition to all of the emulators Richard has worked on.
$25 to support RB is not to much to ask. RB has done a tremendous amount of work for the Emu scene on the mac.
