PL_SVN so... Snow Leopard compatibility is achieved by disabling 64bit mode in every app iGlasses can be used with? =:-/

WALRUSCP Yeah, I am disappointed by this, too. From their FAQ it looks like they have no plans at this time to make iGlasses work in 64-bit mode either. Major bummer. (Version 2.1.3)

HUGHEBA Yeah, I agree too. I've purchased this software years ago. Was happy when I saw they came out with SL compatibility but was very disappointed when I ran the installer and it asked me to disable 64bit support on applications. What a hack. Ended up not installing it. (Version 2.1.3)

iClip Lyrics | Oct 1 2009 |
PL_SVN Since pearLyrics stopped working I couldn't find a good replacement. Finally tried iClip Lyrics and... it's exactly what I've been looking for (well... almost ;-) Purchased it right away! :-) (re that "almost": what I deeply loved in pearLyrics was the widget always running in background. I even forgot it was there silently doing it's job :-) (Version 2.0.6)

PL_SVN ... order is rejected unless one uses a (real or... fake ;-) US address!!! :-/ changing country leads to what I wrote in my previous post: an online rebate form to be filled with both Bento1 (or 2) license *and* Bento3, meaning you have *first* to purchase a full price copy!!! (Version 3.0.1)

PL_SVN oh, sure... haven't noticed that! :-/ XTorrent v2 "regular" (the free update, given you already paid the extra "lifetime updates" fee) is crippled exactly as v1.x unregistered was. The real update is now called "Pro" (*same full speed* as 1.1) but... hey: it's a different app, and you have to pay for it!! ;-P Guys, do yourself a favor: stay away from this developer!!! (Version 2.0v66)

PL_SVN Mr. Watanabe, once more, at his best: after charging an (optional) extra for *lifetime updates*, he found yet another way to tap his loyal customers for money: XTorrent 2 comes in a "regular" and a Pro version that we have to pay again for (plus, as always, an optional lifetime updates *extra*) Obviously no one can, strictly, call this a fraud but... you all know what I mean! :-( (Version 2.0v66)

PL_SVN afaik... Max is the only one wich uses lame for mp3, core audio (not QuickTime!) for aac, latest flac and ogg libraries for flac and ogg and so on. meaning that it uses the best available technology for every file format. so... if you care about sound quality you should use Max ;-) VisualHub is a great app, but AudialHub... ;-P (Version 1.0.1)

HOLYPOLY Max is a CD ripper. Sure, it can rip to a plethora of formats, but it only converts from AIFF. (Version 1.0)

AudialHub | Apr 16 2008 |
BLACKSMITH_TB Not true. Try File > Convert Files... in Max, which can convert from any of the many formats it supports, to any of them. (Version 1.0)

EyeTV | Jan 20 2008 |
PL_SVN Ok so, Elagato says, you get *1 year* free subscription to tvtv. But... if you already have a tvtv account you just get plain nothing! Not even a 1 more day bonus! Thank you, Elgato and tvtv!!! Oh, btw... tvtv sucks (at least here, in Europe. Complaining with their "customer support" leads to a "It's *your* hardware's/software's fault" kind of answer). How happens that a free widget (guidaTv) retrieves *all* programs correctly while this payed service can't? And, without a tvtv subscription, many EyeTV features are totally useles!!! (DVB? Are you kidding? ;-) (Version 3.0)

PL_SVN Maybe I'm alone on this (I sent a couple of emails to the developer but he never answered): under Leopard if you save (even without editing it) an "mp4" file... well... it will just desappear! Be warned. (Version 3.5.1)
