PEG DASH FAB iphoto library manager does much more than allow multiple libraries, it truly manages them. the free version has many nice features, such as inspection of library size and contents at a glance. one feature from the licensed version that i use a lot is moving a folder of photos (or an entire library) from one iphoto library to another. this is a clumsy operation if all you have is the alt key; with iphoto library manager, it's drag-and-drop. iphoto library manager is small, fast, and unobtrusive. i have used it for a loooong time and it has been completely stabile and reliable. the developers have been very responsive in tracking iphoto version changes. i replaced iphoto with iphoto library manager in my dock a long time ago. i agree that this application is worth many times its purchase price. the license that i purchased years ago has continued to remain valid across many version updates. ps: i am not connected to iphoto library manager or its developers in any way; i'm just a satisfied customer with a digital camera, an itchy trigger finger, and tens of thousands of digital images.
