PAXTON  IMHO the 2 day trial is much too short. It would be better to have e.g. 5 successful copy in the trial. If your DVD fails it will fail in the second day too. No way to test it again afterwards...

PAXTON  Is it possible to transcode the ripped dvd with handbrake or visualhub afterwards?

TIAGO  Handbreak has a different purpose...

RipIt would be the software you use to get the content of the optical media (DVDs) on your hard drive... Only after the content is on your hard drive and "open" (ripped), Handbrake would be used to create a video file (.avi, .mkv, mp4) that can be played via VLC, Quicktime, iTunes, etc...

KHARLEEM  But why would I use this vs Mac The Ripper, especially the resulting output of that is a standard Video TS folder?

PAXTON  Very promising and nice looking app. But still a little bit buggy and slowly progressing.

PAXTON  I highly second this. It's too buggy to be usefull. If it was more stable it would be a great app.
