Azureus was "feature complete" long before 3.0. But in an effort to merge Napster, iTunes, and Limewire into one application (most likely just to sell as corporate advertising space), they are messing with perfection, and are condemning this app to a slow and painful death. There are so many other more simple and efficient BT clients now that it doesn't make much sense to use this bloated java mess. What was once destined to be a classic will most like go the way of Microsoft Windows.
