PANICGIRLZ  There's a special link provided the time you bought it. A link where you can download your own latest version, with your name shown on the app.

Contact the developer, provide some purchase info and they'll email you your link. If you have received it, keep it safe or save it to your bookmarks.

PANICGIRLZ  This is still a beta, don't expect it to be perfect.

I'm happy I have CleanApp. Now I'm confident to try any software I want cuz I have this.

Well...that's just my opinion.

PANICGIRLZ  Why don't you try bookmarking, it's the same like code folding. It's much easier to use for me than scrolling through the document and finding folds.

PANICGIRLZ  Thank you. It helped.

But still there's no auto-enclosing of brackets etc.

I think BBEdit is well suited for programmers not for designers. By the way code-folding is great.

PANICGIRLZ  I fell in love with it's beautiful interface. It's like an invoicing application that supports that can use barcode scanners, cash drawers, credit card swipe machine and receipt printers. Good for small or medium businesses. You can also keep track of your stocks. You can connect with 5 Macs. If you have mini grocery store that has 5 counters and 5 Macs, this a good choice. You can share the same database. And what's cool is the User accounts, you can define wether a user has a manager privileges or an employee. I love it. Even Mom can understand this super simple, uncomplicated, beautiful app.

I hope this app to be featured in MUPromo's.

PANICGIRLZ  I don't like BBEdit's autocompletion. It's somewhat slow. And it seems like it doesnt support autocompletion for html tags which I use most of the time. I prefer Coda's autocompletion and Dreamweaver's.

STAINER  The slowness you are experiencing, could that be the AutoCompleteDelay setting?

From the BBEdit manual:

The delay can be adjusted from the command line if desired:

defaults write com.barebones.bbedit Editor:AutoCompleteDelay -float 0.5 # sets the auto-complete delay to half a second

KAIDOH  There is autocompletion for HTML tags! All the entries from the HTML clippings are available through auto completion (check out if you have a HTML.html folder in the clippings section of your support folder - it should be there by default). There is also the Tag Maker in the Markup Menu (cmd+m by default). I recommend you check out the manual on BBEdit's plethora of HTML funcions (chapter 11).

PANICGIRLZ  I know ripit will someday reign all dvd rippers. For its simplicity and easiness. Even your grandma will know how. But I'd like to request a feature. Rip to ISO so we can later burn it to DVD.

Video_TS is also burnable but I think I'd prefer ISO for burning.

AMBROSIASW  While we hate to see things like this about our software, we can never hope to improve upon the design and functionality if we don't get constructive criticism.

Can you please offer a follow up statement or examples to help us learn and improve upon this product.

Thank you.

CleanApp
Jul 25 2008

PANICGIRLZ  they have fixed the crashing the errors. And cleanapp logging is running smoothly unnoticeable in the background.

One thing I don't like is, not all files shown when you prepare to delete is associated with the application. This is one example. I will uninstall bannerzest and the files shown are of course all bannerzest produced files but there are some extras like com.techspansion.plist, bootcache.playlist, com.apple.preferencesync.plist, browserkit.framework folder and many more.

But all in all it's great. No files can escape from the logging feature, even a file that is not associated with it can't escape, lol. That's why I immediately purchased a license will it's $10. Well, currently it in beta. As long as you know what you're deleting, youll be fine. Be sure to scan the files and be careful to put checks on it, read it first.

THEBRIX  Agreed - I notice the problem with files not associated with the application being flagged for deletion. Here, after a lot of use of CleanApp, the same files - and lots of them - were being listed with _every_ deletion.

These were not trivial files ... some of them were .plists which would, at the very least, have lost core settings of OS X if they were deleted ... !

Also, the "100% CPU" issue re-asserted itself.

A pity, as I have to take back my previous review, but it is worrying that such issues only appeared after a couple of months of solid use.

PANICGIRLZ  This Silverback is time saving if you don't wanna do the editing and just export your work on the go. You can also use your apple remote to record, pause etc.

This is the same with Séquence by App4Mac and Screenflow by Vara Software. Screenflow does more than this, but it will cost you $99 to purchase it. Screenflow can also edit videos after recording, you can add audios, videos, callouts and trim but no titling. You can do the titling on your imovie.
