NMEGE  in v.0.7 under Leopard (10.5.7): the app doesn't show up in the dock nor task bar BUT in the menu bar. It took me some time to notice its icon up there (i have a big screen) and i would suggest the owner to include an introductory message at first launch, with an "open preferences" option.

NMEGE  I don't like the way Ecoute handles menus and lists, which i find as heavy and time-consuming as Front Row's.

I'd rather use VOX, another standalone application, but one which is Free. Vox does not recognize Itunes playlists but in addition to its equalizer, it has sound effect options : time, pitch and chorus, reverb and distorsion, echo and compression, flanger and phaser… and a Last FM interface. Supports Drag and drop almost any kind of music file(s) or folders.

PS I'm not related to the Vox people, just not convinced by Ecoute's functionalities considering its price.

NMEGE  Good app but needs fixing (2.6.2)

From what i gathered based on the problems i have :

Doesn't work if you have the same user name and same password with two different ISPs (won't create account) or even just the same user account with different passwords and ISPs (won't read emails except for the ones on the first account of the two thus created).

Wrote to the developer to explain that. Will keep you guys posted of his reply.
