32- or 64-bit Kernel Startup Mode Selector | Aug 28 2009 |
APPLEJACK78 I also reported a Exception error when selecting 64bit mode. Tried on two Duo 2 Core macs. But the developer just ignores this. Ok, to be honest. This app 'could' be handy to just alter a the com.apple.Boot.plist file without fiddling with the terminal. But it simply crashes on my two Macs (running 10A432 though and maybe it works on the 'release' version). As of being 32bit is indeed not needed but it is just kinda funny seeing this (non working) tool is made for switching to 64bit. And if the developer is stating he will compile it to 64bit is plain bogus. Realbasic will never support 64bit compiling. (Version 1.2)

MARKUS WINTER see http://www.realsoftwareblog.com/2009/06/our-64-bit-future.html Most desktop computers have used 32 bit processors for a long time now. Among other things, a 32 bit processor limits the amount of memory a computer can access to 4 GB (or to be more precise, 4096 megabytes). The world is moving towards 64 bit processors which can, in theory, address 16 exabytes (16 billion GB!) of memory. Most 64 bit computers don't support that much memory of course but 64 bit computers will certainly allow for a lot more memory than we have today. For most REALbasic users this change won't require much, if any, work. When we ship a 64 bit native version of REALbasic, integers will be 64 bits rather than 32 bits. 64 bit is something we will be addressing to allow your applications to be 64 bit native. I don't have a timeframe to announce just yet. However, those of you that are depending on 32 bit integers (and if you are, you know you are) can update your code now so you won't have any hiccups when compiling 64 bit native applications arrives. MARKUS WINTER "I also reported a Exception error when selecting 64bit mode. Tried on two Duo 2 Core macs. But the developer just ignores this." You didn't report anything - you just trolled and left snide remarks. Reporting actually involves contacting the developer. There is a contact developer menu item in the app, and there is a contact form on the website - others manage to contact me with their questions, why not you? And your unqualified remarks about REALbasic just showed everyone your real motives. Well done. (Version 1.2)

MR. GECKO If you have 10.4, there is one bug I've noticed that cause it to do that, the only way to remove it is to make 2 folders. Make the folder MrGeckosMedia in /Users/YourName/Library/Applications Support/ and inside of MrGeckosMedia, make YouView. or run this in terminal. If you don't know where terminal is, go to spotlight and search for terminal, it should be the first result. mkdir -p ~/Applications\ Support/MrGeckosMedia/YouView/ and hit return (Version 0.1.2)

MR. GECKO I fixed that problem with my newest update 0.2 (Version 0.2)

MULLIN the main reason for "slow and choppy" is that the game requires a decent G4, but recommend a G5, the main reason for the long download, is that it requires a DSL or Cable Modem for a decent speed, of downloading. (Version 1.0)

MULLIN This is a great bible the main reason for the spiritual violence, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. yes the spiritual villains, that lures us to sin, the real message, of this game is to bring people to Jesus, and to battle spiritual villains, that lures us to sin, (Version 1.0)

Apple Mac OS X | Nov 25 2007 |
MULLIN Your OS 10.5 is real Cool, So easy to use, I like the New Feachures, especially the time machine, it's the best Mac OS Yet, or so I thought, Safari 3 have neat new features, but it needs work, to make it stable, and Mail is on&off. Waves (Music authouring app) needs plug-ins for 10.5 Leopard. Disk Utility looks improved, somewhat nicer looking, but I had to try it 2 or 3 time to make a disk image, format a disk, or erase a partition. the time machine backed up my files, but it's just the files added to the Hard drive, not the bootable OS itself. OS 10.5 Leopard have handsome Dock, but I kept OS 10.4.10 for work. I want the Leopard to shine like the tiger before it. (Version 10.5.1)

MULLIN Is there's a way to download it, so I don't have to go to Apple resellers, to buy it. I like to download the OS 10.5, (the full version, but with the 15-Day limit) and then pay PayPal the money to keep it for good, after trying it out. I like to try it out, to see if I can use it, and that it meets my need, Before buying it. (Version 10.5)
