ASHCHAN  This app depends on RubyCocoa, which is installed by default on Leopard and Snow Leopard. It's not practical to embed the rubycocoa framework inside the app, or to ask the user install development tool and rubycocoa by themselves either. So I'm sorry I'm not able to make it run on Tiger.

If you have installed rubycocoa manually on Tiger, chances are you're able to run gmail notifr. (I have helped some friends do that and they don't have problem with it)

MOMIJIGARI  Finally a .lit-reader for mac! If the dev not only continues development this app, but also fixes all errors as fast as the first reported, this app may soon become essential to me.

MOMIJIGARI  Thank you for the quick fix, the app is able to start now! The books I have tested so far appears to work fine. I hope you'll keep developing this, as it would be great not having to convert all .lit ebooks (especially since it doesn't always work).

MOMIJIGARI  It crashes upon loading for me as well. (Same error as in the review below.) Such a shame, I was so excited to finally find a .lit-reader for mac!

PHY6  I believe I have fixed the problem; I had forgotten to remove a link to the framework.

Please attempt to open http://www.mslit.com/redirect/download/etext/?UniDecl

and let me know if it works (I know this file can open)

Othello

MOMIJIGARI  This is a good version of Othello a.k.a Reversi, and I like the simple yet elegant OS X brushed metal interface.

Only three minor things bugs me:

1) There is no option to turn off the sound (the "blip" when you move a piece gets annoying).

2) When "3D Animation Effects" are turned off in Preferences and the interface changes, the icons which shows the score remains the same when they ought to change accordingly.

3) The button which says "Tack Back" should of course say "Take Back"...

MOMIJIGARI  Easy to use, and excellent performance. It finds the files that are scattered all over my harddrive, and zaps them to kingdom come - but not until I have the chance to verify it is what I want.

Yes, there is a small fee and it is well-deserved. I registered an early version, and have been able to upgrade for free ever since.

What astonishes me are the numerous posts linking to other apps. Do you think other people can't search for themselves if they aren't happy with *this* app? A tad insolent, imo.

MOMIJIGARI  How to create a .slideSaver:

Place a couple of pictures in a folder. Give the folder a name, for instance "Tallyho" and add ".slideSaver" to the end of the name, i.e. "Tallyho.slideSaver". Click the "Add"-button in the dialog that will appear. Done! You now have a .slideSaver, and it was quick, easy and didn't cost you a dime.
