iToner | Oct 18 2007 |
iToner does not "jailbreak" your iPhone, nor does it put any code on your iPhone. It simply puts ringtones in the user area of your phone, using the exact same APIs and method that iTunes uses. There is no way that iToner can "brick" or otherwise damage your iPhone. If you have problems, and need help, please feel free to contact us at: Andrew Welch / el Presidente / Ambrosia Software, Inc. WireTap Studio | Oct 13 2007 |
I'm sorry you feel the product is over-priced; we've actually had comments from a number of people that we under-priced the product. I was merely pointing out to you that your dismissal of the product without every having used it (I noted you did not download it) is a bit unfair. WireTap Studio offers features that the *combination* of Audio Hijack Pro and Fission do not offer, such as live preview, lossless master recordings, non-destructive lossless editing, and many others. We think this makes the product well worth it. All I am suggesting to you is that you download and try the product before making such judgments. Ambrosia Software, Inc. (Version 1.0)

WireTap Studio | Oct 12 2007 |
I appreciate your comments, but I'd suggest actually trying out WireTap Studio before trashing it so. We offer a *number* of features that even the combination of AHP + Fission do not offer. LivePreview, for instance, has never been seen before in *any* audio application, and it is extremely useful. We also have lossless master recording, non-destructive editing, direct exporting to any number of destinations (remote servers, iDisk, BlueTooth, etc.) The point being that there is quite a bit of substance in the product. While I admire your loyalty to AHP, remember that software are all just tools. Pick the right ones for the job, and evaluate new ones as they come along. Ambrosia Software, Inc. (Version 1.0)

ANDREW WELCH EasyEnvelopes just asks Address Book for a formatted address. If you changed how Address Book formats the address, then it will affect the format of the address that is returned to Easy Envelopes when it asks for it. (Version 1.0)

ANDREW WELCH EasyEnvelopes actually works fine with center-fed printers -- you just need to choose the proper paper size. All of the printers at the Ambrosia office are center-fed printers, and EEW works fine with them. If you have further issues, please contact us at help@AmbrosiaSW.com (Version 1.0)

ANDREW WELCH The address that we print comes either from Address Book (most often), or an address that the user pastes in. When the address comes from Address Book, it is indeed a properly formatted address to USPS spec. When pasted in, we assume people want the address printed the way it was pasted in. We're concerned with more than the USPS, EEW works with a number of languages/countries, and people may very well be sending envelopes from one country to another. As for zip code lookup, that's an interesting idea, and we certainly could do it -- but it would again me a US-centric feature (not that there's anything wrong with that). The main point of EasyEnvelopes is to print envelopes easily. (Version 1.0)

WireTap Anywhere | Jul 9 2003 |
ANDREW WELCH Mark -- glad you like WireTap. You can do timed recording with WireTap using the included AppleScripts. It is true that WireTap doesn't include support for sound-altering plugins, but we didn't think most people wanted such a thing; they merely wanted to capture the audio that was playing. The .mp3 encoding issue was explained in the online help; mp3 encoding is not free, and the minimum possible license is $15,000 a year, which obviously makes little sense for a free product. :) We might enhance WireTap further, adding such things as .mp3/AAC encoding, etc., but we'd have to charge for it.
