In order to use the OS X firewall, you must configure and start it first. Then start throttled and it works as expected. |

I know people are worried about the advertisements however these are required for Pandora to pay the large number of musicians they keep on staff. As long as I work on PandoraMan it will be functionally identical to the Pandora Mini Player. If you don't like the Ads the way they are you should contact Pandora and tell them. As for the growl support, it is not functional because Pandora no longer provides the Artist and Track information due to stream rippers abusing that privilege. Unless they give me access to their API this feature will remain broken. |

Actually they are only created by the Finder. .DS_Store files on your network volumes will only come back if you access them in the Finder. Until Apple provides a preference to turn off .DS_Store files completely, this is our only option =P |

Why would I delete .DS_Store files? There is actually quite a few reasons to delete them. .DS_Store files can cause verification errors in Toast if the file is modified while a CD is being burned. In addition there is no reason to burn .DS_Store files on most CDs. .DS_Store files are listed on network servers and litter file listings. Files that start with . are not hidden on Windows machines or Samba shares. .DS_Store files eat up space on your hard drive for window settings you might not need. This is especially true if you prefer all your windows to have the same default settings. .DS_Store files could be a security risk if you upload them to a web server. They contain folder information which can be exploited to obtain system configuration information. |
