This simple app just plays the 6 notes of an open-stringed guitar (or several other instruments like piano, organ, banjo, violin). It doesn't tune your guitar, *you* tune your guitar by adjusting the string tension and trying to get your guitar's string to make the same sound as the app. If you have a bit of a tin ear, that will be hard. You might be better off in that case with a hardware tuner that tells if you are sharp or flat for each string.

One problem with MAMP, it installs mysql in a non-standard location. That makes is easy to uninstall (just delete the /Applications/MAMP folder), but also makes it hard to install, say, MySQLdb for Python.

The vendor of this software hides the price from you. There is no way to determine how much they charge for the product until you actually install it and use it to find your missing files. At that point it appears that you pay a fee based on the size of the files you want to undelete. My guess is that this software is extremely expensive to use and they want you to be desperate enough to recover your file that, once you see the file in front of you, able to be recovered, you'll pay whatever enormous price they're asking. Caveat emptor. BTW they also make it difficult to uninstall the software.
