***..

MFABACHE  I try all Finance/Banking apps.

My one dream is for some developer that can code to Apple/Mac/Cocoa standards, beat the functionality that the Intuit product has (shun to even speak its name) has. For I loath and cannot stand for products from Intuiit - poorest implementation of a Mac app EVER created.

I ALSO received Cha-Ching via a bundle. The only reason I DID NOT uninstall it was that I have *HOPE* that this app, w/ its fancy eye candy can come close to the functionality in the Inutit product (stocks, sync, reports, paycheck, etc.).

I hope v2 comes out and I am impressed. What will be a laugher is if the version does not provide much better functionality and one is expected to pay a fee to upgrade, THEN and only then will I finally uninstall it.

Hoping... (somebody, anybody?) I am pulling for the makers of ChaChing and all others, but the trash is merely a click & slide away.

MFABACHE  These peeps need to have their Developer licenses revoked. So not up to any standard of (typical Apple) quality. Yeah, it cost a dollar or two, and then you throw it away. Save your money, buy a candybar.

MFABACHE  No OFX support, can't use. Too many eye-candy money mangers on market, not many have much on import support w/o a lot of manual labor.

REALMAC17  Just so you know, OFX support is definitely coming in an update later this year - along with more advanced CSV and QIF importing. If you have any other feedback, please email support - we're always happy to hear from potential customers.

ROTH  mini$ supports all the major formats. And its free!

Note to developers:

Importing is so darn easy! I am the developer of mini$ and had no trouble at all to do it; OFX, QFX, QIF, and CSV. My importers are flexible and work consistently.

You guys charge $44.95 and don't have it! You should be ashamed. Try mini$ and take notes please! Or just have me do it for you. In fact, this goes out to all the Mac money programs. When Microsoft finally releases Money for the Mac, or Apple takes initiative and writes their own version of it, all these wannabe finance managers will be flushed down the drain!

REALMAC17  Thanks for your comments, but when your program uses double-entry accounting instead of single-entry - it's not as easy as you think. If you have any other feedback, our support team would love to hear it.

MFABACHE  I prefer VD over Spaces. Would be wiling to support Shareware. Spaces is 'ok', not great in comparision to VD
