Ecoute
Jul 11 2009

MAYERJS1  I really like this application. I've had no problems with it and the best part, is that all three of my Macs can access the iTunes library stored on a NAS drive at the same time. iTunes will lock the library when opened (for good reason), but Ecoute, being a playback offering has no issues at all with sharing the library.

This works better for me than the Firefly client that's out there.

MAYERJS1  The "Mark all as Read" option doesn't work for me using 1.1. Anyone else seeing this?

MAYERJS1  I was able to get the application to run, but certain aspects of it were unusable. The preference screen would come up blank, other menu items wouldn't appear at all. I removed the application from my system.

Running 10.5.6 on a MBP Core2DUO with SMC version 1.12f5

MAYERJS1  Anyone else tried to purchase a license yet? Their store doesn't seem to be functioning properly and I've gotten no response from their support email address.

Flow

MAYERJS1  Wanted to try Flow out for it's WebDAV support. The server I connect to uses HTTPS and it seems as though Flow isn't working correctly for this protocol. All connections are attempted as HTTP and even though the port is set to 443, there is no way to tell the application to use HTTPS.

Still sticking with Forklift at this point...
