Easily the best add-on hack ever. If you use Safari, you need this. You also need to send Mike Solomon $10 to encourage him to work on PithHelmet again.

Elegant. Light. Saves menu bar space compared to Apple's battery thing. Doesn't gobble up resources. Doesn't do anything unnecessary like graphs.

Perfect.

A real changelog showing exactly what has changed between individual released builds would be cool.

A VISE installer is a bit like the glue of a label that does not easily come off something you've just bought: annoying, and a certain way of finding out a company does not care about its customers.

VISE installers are vile pieces of crap that provide no easy way of seeing exactly what files are going to be installed. The interface is clumsy and has not significantly evolved since 1997. Some installers quit every other application before running - what is that about? Others crap files with bad permissions all over my disk, with no easy way of fixing those permissions. Please.

VISE is a practical joke Mindvision has been playing on the Mac community for too long. If you want me to take your product seriously and really, really require an installer, use Apple's.

You know, it actually does what it says on the box. OK, it doesn't have tons of features, and while I wish it came as a simple drag and drop app, would enjoy it if it imported straight into Aperture or iPhoto, and was upset when it crashed on me when I quit, it works.

Ah, if only someone found the time to reverse-engineer the protocol and make something useful with it!

This told me every couple of seconds that I was running on battery. I started it while already running on battery.

Easy to use and nice looking. The people at Digium in Texas were making fun of me within minutes!

The more stupid the company, the worse the installer. If you see a VISE installer, you can bet the program is full of idiocy. Please don't use VISE. Please, please, please.

This is a trivial Applescript bug. We had the same problem with gettunes. See the forums at http://gettunes.sf.net for a fix if you are the author.
