RAY BARBER A couple of days ago, I posted a question on RealMacs support forum, which both the moderators and users alike had replied to. My original post had references about why RealMac chose to release two versions of RapidWeaver. A particular response from one of the developers to a user who replied to my thread essentially berated them for fussing about the price, aside from the fact it was 'beta' software. This got an immediate reply from me, stating they should be careful about making comments to their userbase like that. Of course, my post was replied to by another moderator defending the person in question, re-casting all the various reasons they chose to release RapidWeaver as a Pro version. The following day, my post, complete with all the other threads with it, were deleted from the forum entirely. When I posted yet another note asking why - that too was deleted by this morning. I again wrote one more time - and banned from their support forum entirely! Bear in mind, I have always championed RapidWeaver. I believed in their product enough that I sponsored an "Official RapidWeaver Themes" website when approached by one of the developers there. If this is what I get for supporting their software as I have in the past, I would hate to see how they treat people who casually ask simple questions, regardless if good or bad. This ends my support for RapidWeaver, their developers, and especially my money. I would urge people to seek similar products elsewhere. (Version 2.2.1) |
