It provides folks an option if they don't know how to use the Terminal |

Works to hide folders, if they are not on the Desktop. Does NOT make them visible again by launching Danubio again and selecting the same folder. Am I doing something wrong? |

Now you can copy & paste the link above to see a demo. I'm not really sure why simply reading the description would not be good enough to determine it's usefulness. It is quite clear as to what it does without a demo. |

I should add that it works with both my MacBook (Intel) as well as my G4 (PPC). |

This also works with spanned monitors. Cleans the split desktops, no matter what is on them. This is its forte. It is kind of disconcerting to see everything disappear, but then you get to select the application you want by simply clicking on it in the Dock. |

Downloaded, unzipped, and launched. Hit "record button" and it did. Stopped the recording after about 5 seconds. iRecord then saved the test movie to Desktop, and opened QuickTime automatically. Played the movie. Video and audio are great (iSight webcam). Since the product is a QT movie, it can be edited in iMovie. Not much of a test, but I see no reason why this app could not produce an hour-long QT movie. The only limitation would be due to the iSight unit. If your webcam is not internal to your Mac, you can even record monitor screen activity, allowing you to give a tutorial on using an app, or using Disk Utility, etc., burn it on a DVD, and send it to a computer-illiterate Aunt Emma. iRecord does exactly what it is supposed to do, and is super-simple to use. I haver no affiliation whatsoever with the author or his organization. |

Does exactly what it says it will do very quickly. I give it a 5 for everything but value. Since my Desktop usually doesn't have much on it very often, I won't need to use it often. It is very quick to clean up any mess when I do create one. |

Not many folks are comfortable with Terminal, and a bunch of others don't know any Terminal commands. That is why this is worthwhile. |

The author says OS 10.4 is required. That is why it won't work with Panther. |
