Apple Mac OS X	Aug 6 2009	MACBIRD I found the following recommendation on MacFixIt this morning for installing OS X 10.5.8. 1.0 Download the "combo" updater for this update 2.0 Reboot into Safe Mode 3.0 Run a permissions ﬁx and drive check on the boot drive with Disk Utility 4.0 Apply the update and reboot 5.0 Run a permissions ﬁx again with Disk Utility Comments ? Google Earth	Apr 29 2009	MACBIRD Macmini 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB RAM OS 10.5.6 After reading the other comments I decided not to update. I then tried to launch my currently installed version 5.0. It wouldn't work! So I trashed it and went back to version 4.3 and that works just fine. Guess I'll stay with that one forever. (Version 5.0.11729.1014)		+2

DiskWarrior	Oct 28 2008	MACBIRD Macmini 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB RAM OS 10.5.5 Downloaded, read the instructions & followed them (note - you have to insert your original DW 4.0 disk. It will not work if you try to use your previously updated DW 4.1 disk). Produced a DW 4.1.1 disk with no problem. I then restarted using this new disk (as usual it takes a LONG time) and ran it. Worked fine, I'm happy. (Version 4.1.1)		+2

GardenSketch	May 18 2008	MACBIRD Macmini 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo 2GB RAM OS 10.5.2 I know it's beta but it should at least run. When launched it froze my Mac. Force quit wouldn't work. Finally able to shut down by depressing the main power button for several seconds, which I really hate to do. (Version 080516)		0

ALJUK Butler handles bookmarks differently to this app - it keeps them separated by browser, whereas this app aggregates them, orders them alphabetically, and opens them in your default browser as opposed to the browser in which the bookmark was set. Yes, Butler can be customised, but this app is far quicker and more useful "out of the box" for bookmark aggregation. And since Butler is soon to become a commercial app and newer versions will not be PPC compatible, AllBookmarks very much has its place. I am a big Butler fan, but AllBookmarks p***es all over it for bookmark aggregation.
