LUISMURBINA  Extremely poor value, mainly because it does not deliver what it promises:

this application is not really MS Word compatible - if you drag and drop to an (open) MS Word document, it appears to import your equation. However, if you save and re-open the same document in MS Word in windows, some equations might be missing! (approx 50%) in my case.

Export options are to PICT, PDF or TEX/LaTEX. The use of these formats is not widespread, and it makes it difficult to insert in a standard word document which might or might not be opened in Windows. So an intermediate step is necessary to convert to something else (e.g. jpg).

Finally, if you are looking at this application because it is on offer elsewhere, BEWARE!... they tend to limit your upgrade package to only 2-3 months after your purchase date.

I was a student when I got this (just graduated) and as I am writing my proposal for a Doctoral thesis, I cannot update this application.

It will be a looooong time before this company gets another penny out of me.

On a side note the interface is awful, and some of the mathematical symbols are hard to find via the button menu (i.e. looking for a particular type of mathematical notation is not that intuitive).

****.

LUISMURBINA  I have used it for a couple of months now. Synchro SVN works just fine. I had to manually create a repository in my machine, but once that was done and I connected to it there were no issues. It works as intended.

The other (well known) multi-platform option is Smart SVN but after downloading a demo I couldn't get it to connect to my local repository.

The interface does not look particularly mac-like but that is probably because this is a multi-platform solution. I need to develop on Windows and on the Mac and wanted to use a SVN gui that works on both platforms. If this is not what you are looking for and/or you want a more mac-like look-and-feel, you might want to look at versions or cornerstone (the best of the two in my opinion) instead.

With regards to one of the previous reviews I have been able to connect to an https server without a problem, using user and password login details as appropriate.

LUISMURBINA  In the past I used this product and it mostly worked, but would break here and there. Will try it out and post an updated review on this new version.
