LEXXY  Actually, the application does NOT earn the "i" in its name.

Organisation ist not an ease and movie import is EXTREMLY slow.

Negative things that I have discovered:

Batch processing is not possible (having to add Album, Author etc to each video one by one is a pain in the a**)

Groupings not possible (i.e Author, Album, etc)

Instead of cataloging videos, the application imports them, even if "Keep Videos where they are" is set in the settings panel.

Application crashes constantly when playing videos with the iVideo Player (.wmv in specific)

Good approach, but sparse performance.

MIKE.MCFADDEN  Hi Lexxy,

Movie importing can be slow for certain movie formats (mostly MKV and WMV), but unfortunately there's not much I can do about that. The crashes are probably caused by the WMV plugin. For anyone with a large selection of WMV and MKV files, I'd recommend setting QuickTime Player as the default playback program and only using iVideo for organization. The other movie formats generally import very quickly and work great.

I'm not sure what you mean by groupings, but you can sort by artist or make a smart playlist that displays movies by an artist.

Not being able to edit extended information for multiple movies at the same time was an oversight of mine, and I apologize for that. I will add support for it in the next update.

By the way, importing does not necessarily mean copying. If you have your library set to "keep files where they are", your files *will* remain where they are. iVideo uses the import process to gather information about your movies and save that information to the library. The files themselves are not modified in any way, nor is anything copied.
