LEICAMAN  Why bother installing a "virtual burner" when with an Applescript or Automator you can use Apple's built-in burning capabilities.

So the price is lower? Great.

LEICAMAN  Kind of funny someone proving a tool to remove DRM charges $35 for what amounts to an Applescript that makes MP3 CDs from playlists.

The claim of legality is certainly likely to be challenged by Apple legal if it becomes popular. Not because Apple likes DRM, but because the labels would go ballistic.

TICE  To be fair, it's a bit more than a bunch of AppleScripts. It installs a virtual burner which you can't do with just a script.

But the app ist to expensive. 10-15 Dollar, not more. And a simple description where to find the MP3 after converting: in your ~/Documents/M4PConverter/Albumname/

ERIC  If it says your system preferences are open, they're open. You've just closed the window, not the program. You have to quit.

Not only that, you need to dismount any mounted volumes, and you should log out and back in before starting the install.

And when you uninstall it, it will tell you all the files are not removed, but they are.

Might want to give AdmitMac a look too. Much more capable, same price, from the same company. If you're in an Active Directory netowrk, it's a better choice.

(I don't work for Thursby, but am a happy corporate user).
