LAPTOPLEON I tried several free and shareware disk catalog makers for the Mac. DiskCatalogMaker was the most reliable by far. Others sometimes crashed at a particular (faulty?) disk or had other quirks. Eventually, I offered to translate it to my native language, because I wanted to do something back. The author thought it was a good idea and so I did - and I still translate the updates a few times per year. DCM has come a long way and it's getting better with every version. It's also translated in several other languages, like German, French and Spanish. The only thing I would like to see added to DCM, is a Spotlight index function.
