Yo. I'm a narcoleptic epileptic Assyriologist who happens to have had a computer scientist (natural language processing & cognitive modeling, baby!) for a mom, so I was raised on Macs, & I put my maaad ninja-know-how to use automating as much of the scholarly drudgery associated with Classical academic research with my (much, much beloved) iMac. I consider myself an academic hacker (cf. http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/hacker-howto.html#attitude), but I'm, uh...a little too preoccupied with my thesis dissertation [& means of making enough cash on the side to make the rent, and maybe some food too?!]...to have much of a presence in any dev [or otherwise?] communities. Addendum: I gots the hypergraphia hardcore (Gershwin's syndrome all up in the temporal lobe à la my homeboy Dostoyevsky), so sometimes I find it impossible not to post a review...or comment...or whatever...if I happen to be on a site. I have a history of disappearing without a trace afterward, &, uh, well. ...terribly sorry if this somehow inconveniences anybody.
