KRABBE  It definitely is a good idea not to use software that you don´t understand. Bittorrent clients used to be somewhat tricky to setup. Nonetheless bittorrent is a very efficient way to distribute data, and recent clients (like Transmission) can be set up easily.

Maybe your friend who is IT manager can help you with this. btw: you only seed files while running the client software and you only seed those files that you are downloading (nothing else - if you are concerned about privacy).

KRABBE  Having read the previous comments, Iīd like to make a suggestion to the developer: How about changing the idea for the program from computer aided parenting towards computer gaming - designed for children. Kids could choose the story they want to hear by themselves. The only thing that needed to be changed is the gki, the graphical kid interface. Some big yet simple icons representing the stories, to make selection easier, plus a picture of a Teddy or something, representing the person telling the story, sometimes moving his head or arm, started and paused by a click on his mouth - there are no boundaries for imagination...

Then this program would be more than a technical prothesis for the grandmother, it would be a toy, played by children themselves, or together with their (grand-)parents.

KRABBE  This is not at all about political wellness or censorship. On a global scale, the allusion to Seinfelds soup nazi is an inside joke - you canīt expect everybody to catch it. In Germany, for example, Seinfeld is known only to a few coach potatoes who spend their sunny weekends watching TV. Itīs simply not popular at all. Therefore nobody thinks of the soup nazi, when reading an application named music nazi, but may well remember those idiots still proclaiming that Hitler was doing fine proving their ideas by beating up any person theyīre in the mood to dislike.

I felt offended too, then I looked up the Seinfeld story and now I think it is a funny application name - inside the US.

Developers should not be bound to figure out any way they might irritate somebody on this planet in advance. But IMHO they should try to understand upcoming complaints and respond to them in a sensitive way. Itīs no censorship at all to tell somebody that his joke is not that good in every place. And this one really can be irritating.

Sorry to say, but a software called "music nazi" would spoil my party, for I would spend all night explaining the Seinfeld story to every single guest. No dancing at all - while this is a music player.
