I'm on Leopard and Network says "connecting..." with no progress. Don't have this problem with Cabos, and I've got them set to the same ports. Not sure what the problem is, but it's a shame because this looks a lot cleaner than Cabos. Let me know if you can help.

check out dvdpedia if this doesn't do it for you. it's shareware, but i think worth it.

I have 3,999 songs with lyrics in my library, the vast majority thanks to pearlyrics. However, I have 2,420 songs with NO lyrics. A lot of them are foreign songs, which pearLyrics usually doesn't find. A lot are instrumentals, which have no lyrics anyway.

If pearLyrics could search lyricwiki, I think it would have better results. And I really wish it could find lyrics for foreign songs.

Why isn't there a program that goes through your whole library automatically and finds imports all the lyrics for you? If anyone knows of one, tell me.

I like pearLyrics a lot. It's lightweight and does a decent job, but there's still room for improvement.

Wish it would play music through iTunes in the morning, so I can play it on my wireless airport speakers. Also, since Leopard I have had trouble with making Alarm Clock wake my computer from sleep.

Besides that, it's a great app.

Excellent beta software. It works beautifully. However, the new iChat has made it unnecessary in many situations - the only time any mac user would need to use Yuuguu is if they want to share with a Windows user. Fortunately for Yuuguu, most computer users are Windows users. It's also nice that Yuuguu allows you the option to only share your screen, rather than having to share control.

Still, I think Yuuguu needs to stay ahead of the game. It's a bit buggy, as it's betaware. For instance, whenever I open it, it's hidden. I have to ask someone to message me in order to view the Yuuguu window. Also, I hate that it opens in the top left (right on windows) corner every time, and wish it would remember where I left it last. Just a minor problem.

To stay ahead of the game, it would be awesome to include video\audio chat with it. File transfers would be nice too (drag\drop into the window? oooo)

Keep up the great work, developers.

If a similar feature ever gets integrated into Skype\Aim\Yahoo, Yuuguu will go in the recycle bin. Got to keep ahead of the game, which it is so far.

I think the it works pretty well, but I agree that this is one ugly app that's not fun to use. It needs to be remodeled to be more user friendly, or at least allow drag\drop or iphoto integration!

AWESOME and lightweight utility! Very useful - it has almost completely replaced my ftp client. The bluetooth with my k800i doesn't work either, but I don't need it.

I don't know what the deal is with the name, though. I tell my friends that they need to go download "Ubagrabatabagibbin." What does it mean?

Not sure what the problem is here -

I had most of the lyrics in my itunes beforehand, but lost them when I got a new computer. Now, when I play the song, pearlyrics finds the lyrics (says found in cache), but it does not attach it to the song in iTunes. So, for most of my songs, I can't use pearlyrics to add lyrics unless I use the actual application. The widget is so much more handy. Besides that, pearlyrics works great. Better than any other similar program\widget I've used.

Yeah, the lock\sleep shortcut keys don't really fit with coversutra OR sizzling keys, it was just a nice option. No worries, I'm sure there's some way to do this within quicksilver. Really love the last.fm integration. I'll purchase this when the new functionality comes to the app. Cheers!

I choose to use Sizzling Keys instead of this for a couple of reasons:

The ability to show\hide the album art with a shortcut key.

The ability to rate a song 1-2-3-4-4 stars with one shortcut, instead of having to choose "rating up, up, up"

I also like the added shortcut keys to sleep\lock the computer

The fact that it's mostly free is also nice - but I'd gladly pay for CoverSutra if it integrated those features.

For me, it's just not that functional. It would be nice if it would sync to/from ical calendars, because iCal simply offers a lot that you can't get from pando (eg. iPod syncing). It would be nice if Pando could act as sort of a middle man for me, so I don't have to open up clunky iCal if I don't want to.

I also think it would be nice if you could select the window to always be on top of the desktop, but not on top of other windows. I'd like it to kind of look like a part of my wallpaper. When it's on top of all windows, it's annoying.

I downloaded it, saw it's potential, and deleted it mainly because of the lack of ical integration.

these are awesome - i want more!

an icon for photobooth and time machine? one for microsoft word and safari would be nice, but aren't necessary since the icons kind of already blend i. i think the mail icon is kind of ugly, but that's just me.

and my ical icon doesn't work.. am i doing something wrong? i replaced the ical icon the way the directions say, and i even replaced it the way that i replace other app icons - the icon only changes when the app is open. if ical is closed, i still get the red icon. am i doing something wrong?

OK let me clarify what I meant -

I would like to see an option to download only torrents that are iTunes compatible. It could search only iPod torrent sites (like podtropolis), or it could search other sites with the right extension. I really think this would increase functionality, because I could automatically sync these to my iPod and watch them on the go.

works great, i really like this app -

a feature i'd really like to see, though, is to have it automatically add it to itunes\delete the original file. that makes for easy ipod syncing. it'd be a 5-star rating if i had that option, but great app nonetheless.

I previously left a review about this app talking about how awesome it is - then I saw schoolhouse. Schoolhouse is 10x better for what I want to do, and is jam-packed with great features. After I discovered schoolhouse, I deleted task list. Now, however, Schoolhouse shuts down every time I open it, so I'm back to Task List. This isn't a bad program by any means, I just think that Schoolhouse (when it works) is a lot more useful for me. Love the tabs, by the way!

i haven't tried this because i don't want to pay a ton of money for a bunch of plugins. i can tell you, however, that the developer is great. these type of programs (rapidflicker, rapidblog, and many others) should be integrated into rapidweaver already, if you ask me.

software doesn't work with most free servers, but you can download a trial to publish and see if it works with your server. developer is amazing! fantastic communication, and frequent updates. i would like to see js-kit comments\ratings integrated into the program as soon as possible, though... it beats the hell out of haloscan.

usually, i don't write reviews on here.. but i felt inclined to give this developer a kudos. this app is a great must-have for students. the new version includes some great features that should have been there all along. the fact that it's free is awesome, considering it's most widely used by poor college students. in my opinion, this app is useful enough to donate to. thanks a lot for a great app!

sorry about that.... i forgot to mention

not only should i be able to add AVI videos to my library, but i should have the option to rip\compress my videos. not everyone has a spare 750gigs for their dvd collection, but plenty of people have a large dvd collection. if these features are included in the next release, i'll be buying it regardless of the price.

also, does anyone know if subtitles are supported? and what about dvds from different regions? i'm a big french buff and have a ton of french movies in my collection.

looks like this program has some real potential..

but, i can hardly imagine that the developer wouldn't include a feature to allow users to import AVI files that are already on their hard drive.. am i missing something? if this app can do that, then it'll be worth the money.

iFlash is an amazing application! I actually do more studying now than I did before. The developer is very responsive, also. While I love this application and definitely think it's worth the money, I have a few suggestions for the developer:

1- give users the option to download\upload attachments from the library. I'm not sure if this is supported or not, but I downloaded a deck of Country flags around the world, and there were no images on them... so I assume not.

2- It might just be me, but when I try to record something into my flash card, all I hear is static. My microphone works fine, too.

3- Support quizzing! Because iFlash doesn't support quizzing, I have to use it along the side of Genius.

4- I think the coolest feature of this program is the ability to share knowledge. The first thing I did was download other decks... even decks that covered what I was already efficient in had information I didn't know. And I also downloaded some decks I don't need, just because I thought it would be interesting, for instance, to learn some Japanese words. The problem with this feature, however, is that the library is still fairly limited. A broader list of categories with more decks in them would be really nice. Here are some ways I would suggest the developer can accomplish this:

A) Offer discounts to trial users who upload X number of cards. This would give users incentive to share their own work, rather than keeping to themselves.

B) Offer discounts for, say, a few weeks where the application will be half off.

C) Get free exposure through a website like www.macheist.com by sharing the application to a bunch of mac users for free.

D) Get free exposure through a site like www.macappaday.com

Increasing your userbase, regardless of how much they paid to get the licensed version (or even if they have the licensed version) will lead to a larger library, thus a better application. And, of course, the more people that love the application, the more people they tell. I've already told several friends to go get it ;)

this app works great, i love having the date in the menubar. assuming the developer is reading this, here are a few things i'd love to see:

1 - the ability to move the clock to the right side of the menubar, where the standard clock normally is.

2 - an option to get rid of the blinking : that separated the hour from the minutes

3 - an imbedded alarm clock in the drop-down box

4 - least importantly, but this would be kinda cool - incorporating ical, so i can view my activities for the next week by just clicking the date.

anyway, this is a good start and i hope to see improvements along the way.
