KABING  I agree with Sean0629. My experience with Oaktree and Accordance has been quite positive.

Yes, the Accordance forum does request that everyone use their real name, and I don't have a problem with that.

Like Sean, I have to say that Accordance does indeed keep the Bible central. While I refer to some of the reference modules on a regular basis, I work primarily with the Biblical text itself, and Accordance is ideal for that.

Oaktree continues to expand the resources available to learn Accordance. There is the built-in help, including an extensive tutorial, several pdf guides (which are slightly out of date but still helpful), a tutorial DVD (whose "chapters" can now be downloaded), a "Beginning in Mark" tutorial, and a new series of webinars, which are recorded and made available for download if you can't make the time of the webinar.

The developers are very active in the forums and work hard to fix the kind of issues you have experienced. If they detemine that the problem is related to the underlying OpenOffice.org code, there may not be much they can do. But if it something they can fix, they will do so quickly and release a patch. Either way you'll get a clear answer.
