JVHVR you should use Transporter to connect to your Bootcamp partition ? with me, its not grayed out anyway.

JVHVR why using bootcamp ? just use a virtual disk image of Vista. the're several seeds available via bittorrent. with Parallels one can forget Boorcamp very easely !

JVHVR There's still one major problem, as suspend mode does not works, after saving, "resurecting" the virtual machine gets an unresponsive windows system, the only thing I can do is a force quit !!! And Parallels seems to ignore it completely. I'm developper too, for Apple, and I'm working with Leopard 9A343 (10.5). The only build who was working properly is/was build 3036 from december 2006.

JVHVR I hate to say it, but I've send several bugs and questions to Parallels, and the only mail I got back was that a support officer contact you within a short time. That was several months ago... JVHVR Version 2.5 3036 worked fine with my Macbook Pro Core 2 duo, 2 GB Ram. Since I installed 2.5 3094, the programm crashes on launch, even the desinstaller app crashes, so I can't remove the app. I tryed to reinstall 3036, the programm starts, but has dificulties with its drivers. "Parallels Desktop is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Seems that drivers are inconsistent with the currently installed version of Parallels Desktop. To overcome this issue, reinstall Parallels Desktop and start it by selecting Finder->Applications->Parallels->Parallels." I reinstalled 3036 ten times, but its no use, everytime the same problem... And since 3094 crashes on launch, the're is no way to run my Win XP anymore...

JVHVR I find it a very usefull and reliable programm, not only you have tremendious much data, ALL over the world, it's also an online application, and yes, you need a fast mac and an even faster connection to the internet, a fast broadband I would recommend ! Once you have this two indispendable things, also usefull for all other programms, it's a very good utility and the forecasts are very reliable. The programm has mutch evolued troughout the years, and I hope the maps will still improve on detail ! One thing could be better: when viewing cloud animation, you don't know witch image is showing up, or what's the beginning of the "movie" or the end... I use it all over the years to plan my hollydays, and I've never had any regrets on the weather I have there !!! So buy it quickly, you would have a wunderfull experience. The demo isn't much, because of the limited details of the maps, but the registred copy opens a world of difference !

JVHVR I got a very fast answer from Macchampion (writer Alepin): Please redownload 2.3.1 The first version of 2.3 was corrupted, we reposted it and then posted 2.3.1 If this fails, please let us know there may be another issue and we'll want to help you out! Another thing to try if things do not get better is to delete the preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.macchampion.alepin.plist) Hope this helps! Let us know! And 2.3.1 works VERY FINE !!!
