JS8DEV Regular QuickTime H.264 encoded files are supported, but not if they are for m4v files, i.e. for the iPod. This is not a restriction that MovieChapterizer requires but because m4v files with chapter data aren't allowed by iTunes. If iTunes changes to allow such files through to the iPod then MovieChapterizer will allow them to be created. (Version 1.1)
JS8DEV A preference will be added in a future release to allow the check for new ReelBean software to be turned off. ReelBean does not send any information from any computer. When ReelBean is started it reads an XML file on a server to check whether a new version of the application is available. A one-line entry is recorded by your computer's logging software to openly record each time ReelBean carries out this software update check. This can be verified by running the /Applications/Utilities/Console application. (Version 0.95)
