JOFALLON  Does Glims block advertising and plug-ins? It looks to me like it does not try.

JOFALLON  It does work. The tiny font in the GUI (probably a limit from Thunderbird) is pretty annoying for someone with a large monitor who prefers bigger fonts.

Importing messages from anything but Thunderbird is really unpleasant. I have 100+ mailboxes I use for organizing the mail I keep - ten plus years of mail. The search feature is great, but importing mailboxes as raw messages one at a time - is crazy. The product is still in beta.

Plenty of time for improvement.

JOFALLON  It's still a work-in-progress, but it's getting there. It does seem to be quite stable, for me anyway, and it (oddly) gives me fewer problems than Apple Mail, which is tells me it needs to be have its indexes rebuilt periodically. I'm still keeping an eye on MailForge and Postbox, but this looks like it will be good enough.

JOFALLON  I bought two licenses for this thing last April. Early versions had few features and didn't handle Eudora imports but more or less worked for reading mail. Beta version 17 just crashes for me on startup, even after I deleted all existing mail and preferences. At some point the product may well work. I'll come back if/when I see the first production release. I didn't figure on a year long beta. Eudora still works fine for me under Leopard for now.
