They have always stood for great Mac performance and although I have 2 macs with Intel I own 5 Macs with PPC processors including aG% with dual 2.0 Processors that I wouldn't trade for the world. I don't feel that this type of "rating" gives the work of numerous artists a "fair shake". I personally don't put much stock in an aggregate of "pundits" and "mavins" I like to make up my own mind. There are those who will look at the percentage and if it is low will go no further and pass the film up. The film may in fact be one that appeals to their personal preferences and tastes.

JAZZYGUY  It would be great if it worked...BUT it doesn't! I tried two Movie Titles.It searched them and I selected the correct title on both. One showed "98% the other 38%" Is this supposed to be the rating? Producers invest Millions on a film and this "critic" with one swipe of the pen gives it 38%!I really expected a mini review what I got was a percentage. I think I'll give this app 20%.

JAZZYGUY  NewsFire doesn't run on 10.5 You can not open any of the articles that are listed in any of the feeds. Writing to the developer produces nothing. I feel that after supporting this application from its inception I should get some information from the developer as to what his plans are for an update. I feel that after reading other comments about Dave that it would appear that he doesn't give a Tinker's Dam about his customers. Consequently we should reciprocate by shrinking his wallet. Maybe if enough of us don't buy this product he will pay some attention to those who support his product.

JAZZYGUY  You are correct. I was wrong. I then installed Mame OSX and your app did its thing properly. However, I could not import my ROMS with Mame OSX or with your library app had to trash both apps. There was a long list of ROMS in Mame OSX but no way to use them or import or install them.

JAZZYGUY  I'm looking forward to using this app but I am wondering if it is going to function. On launch it could not find my MacMame app and wanted to know if I would like to locate it. I did in the Application folder where all my apps are located. It then began collecting data from my MacMame application. It has been doing so for the past hour and there appears to be no end in sight. I don't know whether to force quit or continue on as I can't stay up all night waiting for it to finish. I am wondering if the collection of data is working but I would tink that if it isn't I would get an error message...none appears yet it is running on and on with no end in sight.

JAZZYGUY  When starting the game after moving the app to my App Folder The error message says I should put it in a path that does not have "weird characters" Very Strange!!! I then moved it to my desktop but I got the same error message,I really don't understand this message and I would like some help as I can't run the game.

JAZZYGUY  I bought NNW right away as soon as it was originally released. However,as fine as it now is ENSEMBLE 2.0 which is free beats it by miles. Incredibly fast with its own browser and a combined view of 4 panes it handles RSS and Atom very quicly and is far classier and made for MAC! Try it!

JAZZYGUY  This is NOT an application that can simply be placed in your applications folder and then launch it and configure it for your pop mail account in mail.app First you have to install the developer tools and then use Terminal to go through all kinds of permutations and commands. This app is for the users who know how to use Unix and are one of the brave and fearless. Unfortunately I am not one of them although I have dabbled with Fink and X11 I am depite all my years of experience with my Macs an ingenue and dilittente nevertheless. JAZZYGUY  Thanks to the guy that said use BwanaDick! It works great and I put it on all my Macs! I once went for one of AlphaOmega's "apps" if you can call them that. It was a translator app and it was TERRIBLE! BwanaDick does the job and does it with CLASS! Why spend good money on junk like this when Freeware that does the job better is available.
