JAZZYGUY  I tried to use this version but it asked for a password. I have used many previous versions without problems. My call sign was verified many years ago on the first version. I got a sheet come down on launch asking for my name call and password. Not knowing what password to put in there I put my admin password. It wouldn't let me log in. JAZZYGUY  ABSOLUTELY untrue. Although the message on launch says that 1Password is not compatible with this version of Camino the browser then crashes. Itis ONLY when you remove the preference in 1Password that the browser becomes stable. It is true that the message says that the 1Password plug in is disabled BUT the browser crashes anyway. As soon as you remove the preference in 1Password all is OK and the browser is stable.

JAZZYGUY  I play LtSkat A KDE application available through Terminal and X11 through the installation of MacPorts. I thoroughly enjoy LTStat and so I eagerly awaited the opportunity to learn the German game of Skat since LtSkat is based on Skat. Unfortunately the instructions are in German and I can't understand them. Actually the learning Game is also in German and I couldn't fathom how to proceed. It looks like an awful lot of work was done on this app.and I would have gladly paid for it. I am truly sorry that I had to trash it as well as the preference file which was in the proper place namely~/library/preferences. BUT the support file was NOT in ~/library/application support but in ~/Documents which is the wrong place for this directory which was also labelled in German.

It does not download my full group list,writing to the Developer is a waste of time as his address is invalid. Is this some way to censor web sites based on some criteria that is decided by some individuals that have decided that the web site(s) they have visited were in some way in conflict with their own ideas of what should or should not be there? Is this some attempt to curtail the free internet? If this is so then maybe the next step is as Leonard Cohen aptly stated in his song "Everybody Knows" a meter will be installed on our beds.Perhaps when someone comes across a web site that is in conflict with their morals they ought to just skip over it.{Just as there is a power button on our TVs...one doesn't have to view something that is in poor taste according to their own taste but to impose their taste on others that in my humble opinion is wrong.

JAZZYGUY  Nope! I am correct in my review and comment. Someone looking up a film will see a percentage and if it is low will figure that the film is a loser immediately. I don't feel that this type of "rating" gives the work of numerous artists a "fair shake". I personally don't put much stock in an aggregate of "pundits" and "mavins" I like to make up my own mind. There are those who will look at the percentage and if it is low will go no further and pass the film up. The film may in fact be one that appeals to their personal preferences and tastes.

JAZZYGUY  It would be great if it worked...BUT it doesn't! I tried two Movie Titles.It searched them and I selected the correct title on both. One showed "98% the other 38%" Is this supposed to be the rating? Producers invest Millions on a film and this "critic" with one swipe of the pen gives it 38%!I really expected a mini review what I got was a percentage. I think I'll give this app 20%.

JAZZYGUY  NewsFire doesn't run on 10.5 You can not open any of the articles that are listed in any of the feeds. Writing to the developer produces nothing. I feel that after supporting this application from its inception I should get some information from the developer as to what his plans are for an update. I feel that after reading other comments about Dave that it would appear that he doesn't give a Tinker's Dam about his customers. Consequently we should reciprocate by shrinking his wallet. Maybe if enough of us don't buy this product he will pay some attention to those who support his product.
