JAB47  Tried Safari 4 yesterday but ran into the Glims problem. When the new Glims came out I tried Safari 4 again. It seems to work fine but I am getting a lot of spinning beachballs that last a long time so I am back to Safari 3.2.1. I am running a 700 MHz Power PC with 512 MB of memory. I wouldn't be surprised if my computer is part of the problem. Safari 3.2.1 runs fine so for now I'll stick with it.

JAB47  Running 10.4.11.

Vanilla 3.0 tells me it can't run in this architecture.

AccuWeather.com Widget

JAB47  1.0.2 still does not update radar for me. Its 9:46 am here and I was looking at a radar loop that goes from 7 to 8 am. I closed the widget then reopened it, put in my location and the radar is current at this time but I suspect it will not update. Its too bad because this widget provides a lot of info with a small footprint.

JAB47  I tried 2.0 and it worked like a charm. This morning I upgraded to 2.0.3 and I can't get past the password page for my account. I press verify and nothing seems to happen. Can I get 2.0 back until this is fixed?

JAB47  I love this application but the cloud update fails all the time. All other visuals update fine.

JAB47  On my computer the bottom half of the bottom line of text is cutoff. Otherwise it is a nicely done screen saver

JAB47  All I was trying to point out is with the prior version of MEMunu if I went to the download now submenu, or the Macupdate page submenu or the more info submenu and Safari was my default browser, Safari would open and go to the proper place. Now Safari doesn't open at all.

If iSafari is open already every thing works properly. If I set my default browser to Camino or Firefox everything works properly whether opened or closed.

Interestingly enough when I went to reply to your last comment from Mail and clicked on the reply link in your comment, Safari wouldn't open but Camino did open to the reply page.

This could be a Safari issue but I was just trying to pass along my experience. It seemed others were having the same isssue.

JAB47  I also have noticed that using the latest MUMenu doesn't seem to allow Safari to download or even just get info about a product from MUMenu. Switching the browser to Camino works.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  We're looking into it, but we use Safari (latest version) with the latest version MUMenu, and it functions without any issues whatever here.

JOEL MUELLER  MUMenu and Safari and in no way connected except that MUMenu downloads the files in whatever browser you have selected as your default system browser.
