question: is it correct that hatchery changes the creation date of every file while making the clone? after cloning all my files had the same creation date as the modification date. with finder copies, my creation dates stay correct. what should i do? thanks |

probably your external harddrive is not indexed by spotlight. have a look in spotlight preferences if your external harddrive is in the private section. if you want to find things with spotlight or spotinside, you have to remove the harddrive and let spotlight index it. if you don't want that you can use the programme "easy find". |

you can fix it yourself by doing the following: after downloading you get a file "Massive Mail.dmg.bz". Just rename this to "Massive Mail.dmg" it will ask you if it should use .dmg and you say yes. Now it is mountable. Cheers Ingvo |

for your problem I would suggest opening and closing sidenote with shortcuts only. if you switch off the ability to open it with the mouse, you will not have it opened accidentally. ingvo |

Thank you for excellent freeware! Now I can create from any given folder via shortcut (Quicksilver) a crossplattform iso image with all data intact (even creation date, which gets lost, if you use disc utility and dmg!) And thanks to your tool even multiple images at a time! Thanks again! Ingvo |

Thank you for this good idea! Would it be possible just to assign a shortcut to let the contextual menu pop up (from the selected area) so one does not need the mouse. Then one could have quick access also to the idems that are not assignable via Shortcuts. |

THANK YOU! it really works! just open miana, set time and date first and then drop folders and files. (as a hint to the guy that gave a bad comment ;-) |

is it possible to make this either a service or an applescript? in that case one could use it from within QUICKSILVER. it seems to not handling + in front of the country code (e.g. +44) otherwise: thanks for that much needed little tool! |
