Cord is a better remote desktop client that supports clip board sharing and has proper support for the apple special keys, also has bookmark support. I find the MS RDC too buggy. |

Do you really need a reboot to change the menu bar? Perhaps you could just kill the menu bar process. |

Tried it on Tiger a while ago and it didn't work - nothing appears when a scan is started. Tried now on Leopard and same thing. So I'm still waiting for a GUI app to capture WiFi traffic promiscuously. |

I disagree, I hate ads and block them all. They are distracting and often waste my time. I think apps like this one are the most essential you can have. Don't worry there are enough IE users watching ads for Google to make its huge profits and publishers to get their measly cut. |

Oops missed that. Hope he can fix that soon so other people don't just dismiss this app. Heres what I experienced: Doesn't block enough banner ads. Doesn't block sponser videos on: http://www.thestreet.com/_tscnav/video/index.html Sometimes the ad flashes up and then vanishes: http://www.theregister.co.uk/ |

the 0.2 dmg fails to mount so I couldn't compare it to pithhelmet. What I wanted to check is if this can allow flash video sites to work properly. With pithhelmet installed on certain sites I need to add filters to get videos to play. e.g. http://www.thestreet.com/_tscnav/video/index.html and http://www.cnettv.co.uk |

By the way you cant copy and paste an image into Icon Composer it has a bug and gets stuck. You need to drag into a file instead. |

I'm using it to make folder icons for my movies so they look great in cover flow. At the moment I do a google image search for the movie cover, load up Icon Composer from the Developers Tools, drag the image (usually a jpg) from Safari to Icon Composer, export as ICS, drag that file onto IconDroplet. Do get info on the file it makes and on my new folder for the movie. Copy and paste the icon from the getinfo window of the file to the get info window of my folder. If there is any way you could make this process shorter I'd be grateful. |

Its more efficient to use hot corners for things you do frequently, e.g. dashboard, all windows, app windows show desktop. Since you have only four corners it wouldn't be sensible to give up one of them for sleep display which most people will only do maybe 1-2 times a day. With SleepDisplay in application form you can hook it up to anything you like, e.g. quick silver, launch buddy, remote buddy...whatever you like. |

The free one is apparently slow and buggy. I think Paragon's solution is worth a try the flash demo on their site looks impressive. |

Sorry it does work after all. After investigating I found the new MAC address just doesn't appear in Network Utility, but it does seem to be applied. |

It uses 1% cpu even when the dashboard isn't displayed. Anyway you could prevent that? |

Still doesn't autosave so it too risky to use this app to take notes. |
