I am a Certified Apple tech, but I don't work for Apple. Even though all your hardware checks out fine, it sounds like that your hard drive may be going bad. I have seen more hard drives go bad in so many different ways then you would think. It is the #1 part to go bad in any computer, which is why I always say "Backup your data. Back it up anyway you can". And the errors you are saying you are getting, sounds like a bad hard drive to me. You might think about getting it replaced.

But that's just my professional opinion. You could try running TechTool on it. TechTool will tell you if your hard drive is going bad about 90% of the time. If it comes up with "bad blocks" then your hard drive is bad.

I'm not liking the new version very much ether. It would be better if it doesn't make iTunes launch when you log in to the computer. I'm going back to version 3.2 until this is fixed.

You guys should quit criticizing this developer, he made something that that is useful for him, and he thought he would share it with the world. If you don't like it, don't use it. Just don't criticize it. Everybody uses the computer differently.

Of corse this app is not going to work, nor any other data rescue app if a hard drive is making "weird clunking sounds". Once a hard drive gets to that point, your screwed. You should have been checking the S.M.A.R.T status of your hard drive, and checking for bad blocks or sectors. These data rescue apps only work if your hard drive can still mount. And by checking your hard drive from time to time, would have gave you plenty of warning to back up your data. This Data Rescue app would have worked if all you had was bad blocks on your hard drive, which are indications of a failing hard drive.

I have been having problems with FrontRow not workng, frezing, or not even loading. After hours of compleatly weeding out all FrontRow, QuickTime, all iLife apps and files, and then reinstalling them. I finaly pinpointed my problem, and it was directley related to this iTunes Plugin, which promptly went to the trash. Problem solved.

Where is this app? I can't download it, and it seems to have been pulled from the web. Every web site that says you can download it, always comes up with a file missing error. I realy need this app! Anyone know where I can get it?

"This information is critical when you have to file an insurance claim in the event any of your property is damaged or stolen."

But what good is this to you if your computer get's stolen?

Just a thought...

After some tinkering.. I found out how to use this. You go to the View manu and select Customize Toolbar, then you just drag it into the toolbar anywere you want it. Then it works like it should.

It would be nice for the developer to include a Read Me, explaining how to use it, insted of us trying to figure it out for our selfs.

That is funny! Like the previous post said, it trashes itself upon launch.

A bug maybe?

"You played it wrong, you're not ment to run into the face, chase the visuals that run down the screen and avoid the face, last longer then a second"

I was avoiding the face (Ghost), I was chasing the visuals that run around. But no matter what I do, it quits after 1 second, and the face (ghost) doesn't even touch me. Whether I touch the wall, the visuals, the face, or touch nothing at all... it quits.

Good Idea, but it only lets you play for 1 second, then it goes back to the title screen. It's got potential though. I'll be watching this one, but for right now, it's going in the trash.
