I3J  I agree that most of the one-star comments were more rants than reviews. I'm a power user and have used Norton products for years -- minus all of the horror stories.

I also agree with the poster who reminded us that viruses can be passed along, which is why I ask my friends -- especially my PC using friends -- to refrain from sending any attachments that come from someone I do not know (e.g., the silly joke stuff that people love to send en masse to their 5,000 closest friends).

Just because relatively few viruses are written specically for OS X doesn't mean that our machines can't catch these colds.
