HOPETINDALL I purchased FS in summer 2005. Unfortunately - I haven't been able to run it since - as it damages the permissions on my SOURCE disk every time I run it. There seems to be some problem with the software's handling of symlinks. In the interim - I've been using the much less functional 'Deja Vu' - as this doesn't do damage to my disk like Folders Synchronizer. The author was initially responsive to my emails - despite an early offer of refund (which i turned down hoping the problem would be fixed) - he now doesn't seem to want to give me a refund and hasn't seemed to have addressed the problem either. I really hope he fixes this software so I can use it again. When it works - it's great. But I don't want something messing up my disk. |
