HIPPY DAVE  regarding fullscreen, tofu seems to work perfectly with megazoom:

http://ianhenderson.org/megazoomer.html

this lets you use tofu in fullscreen, with no menu bar, no window title bar, just a full screen of text and a scrollbar at the bottom.

HIPPY DAVE   yeah sorry i should have explained its use a bit better. the "task completed" message is from platypus, which is what i used to wrap my script into an app - once you get that message, you can't do anything except quit. as flu33 says, you have to start MakeTorrent in the first place by dragging something onto it, so it's useful to keep MakeTorrent in the dock (drag it there while it's not running).

sorry this isn't ideal, but i think i know how i can improve it for a newer version :)

QKA  Hippy Dave,

Help! I can't get this to work!!

I did the following:

1) Drag the Make Torrent app into the dock

2) Drag folder I want a .torrent file for on to the Make Torrent icon in dock

3) Get Make Torrent window with progress bar that first says "Running" then "Task Completed". However, progress bar stays animated, not a normal completed look.

4) Click "Quit" button in that window. make Torrent quits.

5) Cannot find .torrent file. Use Spotlight to look for file with ".torrent" created today. No luck. Not in same folder as source folder. Not on Desktop.

Tried same procedure with just a file. Same results.

I know documentation can be a pain, but a simple "how to" would be a Good Thing. It need not be any more detailed than my outline above.

Thanks for the effort. This looks like it could be just what I need, if I get it to work.
