HERMIT This is normal for an update. The update is only installing the CHANGED files (those being updated). If the directory structure doesn't exist, the installer creates them. But, the downside is that if you've moved or deleted the original file / program, you're left with an un-updated app and / or a useless folder that holds updated files. The only fixes would be to 1) get a copy of the original program by either a) restoring from backup (you have one, right?), b) re-installing from the original install disc, or c) extracting from the original install pkg, then 2) either a) copy the updated files into the corresponding folders or b) re-update. If you were expecting an UPDATE to include the whole program it updates, then you should also expect an update file that is almost as large as the original install (in this case, a DVD).
