I am not sure from your post if you have suffered problems with data in daylite like you have with Now Contact. Openbase, our database engine is very stable and very powerful, data stored in Openbase is very secure, you can even have Openbase make daily backups, if you concerned about data stability.

If you contact Marketcircle Support they will be able to resolve the issue of the permissions, for you.

Mention to them the crashing and we can look at addressing this too. We are not aware of any bugs with the preference at this time.
