GRUMPYTICO I got this app in the MacHeist bundle...and I have stopped using it simply because it won't sync alarms with iCal. That is, there is no way to make a TODO that will alert you when it's due, which defies my purpose of using this. Otherwise, it's a very nice application with a very cool GUI, hopefully this missing feature will be implemented in the future. (Version 0.9.3.17)

LEE123 I have not tried this and probably will not. But... This is probably different in respects to actually being able to have separate icons, app, etc ... for each desktop. While spaces allows multiple working spaces each one is the same as the first one. With the exception of launching certain apps into separate "work spaces" Apples Spaces is not a true multi-desktop app. If this is the case then indeed this app will appeal to a number of people that are not satisfied with Apples app. (Version 2.1)

GRUMPYTICO The software gets the job done; however the activation procedure is not coll at all. I've had to activate it several ties after switching machines. Today while trying to use it on my MBP I was asked AGAIN to activate it and it won't let me because it has been activated on too many machines. Software should be smarter than this. GRUMPYTICO I'm kinda getting sick of mac apps that start up and then just vanish into thin air. For instance, Visual Hub and this one, but Visual Hub at least had the decency of hanging around for more than one month. If the developer of this application had to make it open-source so that it complies with lastFM, then he should have known this from the start. Instead here I am, July 24th, the application that I paid $30 no longer works because LastFM changed something, and who know if it will eventually be fixed. To the dev, you really made a sh!tty move, people like you make me want to never spend another dime on shareware. (Version 1.0.1)

GRUMPYTICO blloyd & stormchild: I guess we have to explain it to you like the 12-year olds that you are: Sometimes Mac OS X hangs - due to whatever reason, it hangs. I've had it reach a state in which I would now be able to bring Activity Monitor and the command 'sudo reboot now' would not do anything. I've had apps that crash not respond to Force Quit dialogs - and guess what? This app helps me avoiding a hard reset and allows me to reboot my system gracefully. See, someone WHO USES the program (not someone who goes about trolling in MU - take a look at stormchild's comments on other SW) finds it USEFUL. Now you may think it's stupid, just like someone who does not does not program in Objective-C would find XCode stupid. Bottom line, if you don't use it, STFU and don't use it. We don't want to listen why YOU guys think something should have never seen the light of day. To the developer: thanks for your software, and don't let a-holes like these two trolls affect any of your work. Cheers! (Version 1.0)

"Sometimes Mac OS X hangs - due to whatever reason, it hangs. And when your system is this unresponsive it will let you open up new programs (i.e. this one)? Doubtful. Odds are if your system is messed up enough to need this, then ironically it won't work. It's like trying to pull the emergency brake when the car has already sailed over the cliff. (Version 1.0)

GRUMPYTICO This is ridicolous...smtips review is very, very shameful. The reviewer is downright immature and should be treated as suck. To the developer: THANK YOU. Thanks for creating quality software. GRUMPYTICO I've been using PhotoUpLink for quite some time now and I think it is a great product for various reasons. For starters, it takes the pain of being able to backup your iPhoto collection to a remote server. I have used it to backup most of my iPhoto library amd.streamlod.com and I feel safe knowing that if disaster strikes, I have a backup of my pics. I pulled them all back (or so I thought) only to find out I did not rescue a file from the trash which I had spent two hours working. This is a very severe bug, application should not have even seen the light of day with this dangerous behavior, and the developer should not even consider charging it until proper testing has been done. GRUMPYTICO Two fatal flaws: -At the beginning it checks something online, which if network is a bit buys can take up to 10 seconds in doing so :S Sometimes it has completely hung up on me when doing this -NO RESUME! I have tried twice in the last hour to upload a file and transfer has failed. The app should present an option to immediately try and continue the upload where it left off, but instead fails and you have to start all over again. I have no problems uploading and resuming with Transmit to the same server, so it is not my server. Until these two flaws are fixed (especially the second one), it's way easier to upload the file and send the link manually. (Version 2.0.5)
