GPSTEIN1  This is probably the LEAST user friendly app ever. I want it to allow FireFox (duh !) and it keeps blocking it. The help screens aren't helpful, its a joke.

This software was written by Microsoft people, who like to make things a challenge. A total waste.

iCal Sync Now Up-To-Date
Mar 14 2009
****.

GPSTEIN1  It work, kinda. Have been using this for a while, and only once did it sync the todo's. Once. The sync also doesn't get all calender events.

Usually its 95% accurate, and there are numerous times there are dup's & triplicates.

Overall, at the price it does fill a need, and seems to be updated regularly. I would recommend it, as NightHawk's had numerous delays.

PocketMac for Blackberry
Mar 26 2008
**...

GPSTEIN1  I am trying to use this with a Blackberry Curve, its doesn't sync with Now Contact/Up to Date. Its also slow with Apple address book, and when using the "advanced options" button, is very slow.

Not a good product at all. But its free with the Blackberry.

Have used Missing Sync with my Palm Treo 650, that works great.

Blackberry needs to commit to the Mac with more R & D.

GPSTEIN1  Used a few times, overall, easy to use, backs up drive quickly.

But, not able to make encrypted, compressed disk image.

Waiting for next major upgrade.

***½.

GPSTEIN1  A decent product, however there is NO customer service/support.

None. No phone, email, nothing.

That alone is big to me . If I had known about this, I'd buy Quickbooks.

Also, Quickbooks has some intergration with Quicken and TurboTax.

Its not a bad product, but with ZERO customer support/service, its not a good option. If there was free email support that would be a plus. Support is a pay option only, $50- (3mths) - $80-(6mths).

Or, a "certified consultant" for $75- a hour.

I would never recommend this product.

LRKIRSCH  Fortunately, there is at least a free official discussion board:

Sometimes questions can go unanswered, but it's better than nothing. :(

MACCENTRIC  Have you ever tried Quickbooks support? It is almost worse than nothing (and they want you to pay for a consultant too).

Not that it's any excuse to not supply at least 30 days free (as Intuit does with Quickbooks).

GPSTEIN1  This is my 3rd version of NUD/C. It just keeps getting better. I'm sure I can do everything I need with this program.

However, I also feel its a little overpriced. But, since I'm upgrading, its not that bad. And that you should be able to buy a 2nd. copy/license at a big discount. If i purchased a desktop for my office, I'd have to export to the Apple apps. An inconvience at best.

Overall I highly recommend Now Contact/Up to Date.
