GHOKIE This looks like exactly what I've been needing... however, when downloaded from the developer's site and launched, there is a reference that the Beta version has expired.
Would love to try a working copy. (Version 2.0.290)
HAZMAT When it's open, hit Expose. I found it popped up a welcome window in the background, so I couldn't use any menu items until I clicked OK.
Dev: please do something about this. Most people probably won't think to check for something like this and just think the app doesn't work. (Version 1.2.1)
GHOKIE Nice idea, and pretty to look at, but I couldn't enter any stocks. Tried "aapl" for my favorite company, and "T" for AT&T, but the widget couldn't locate either issue. Also couldn't determine where to define the exchange as the developer claims.
GHOKIE I used to use MenuCalendarClock, but was annoyed by the constant reminders, even though I always disable the extra features.
All I want is a small little calendar that lives in my menubar and is there when I need it, and not when I don't. MagiCal does just that. (Version 1.0.9r2)
I'm not knocking MagiCal, but what you said about MenuCalendarClock simply isn't true. I own the program and get NO reminders (because that's how I like it) unless and until I click on the menubar icon.
MagiCal looks nice and is free, so it's perfect for some. MenuCalendarClock has a few more tricks up its sleeve, however, and some may feel it's worth the small shareware fee.
I entreat any readers to try them both and make up your own mind. (Version 1.1a4)
