GBOOKER  This is entirely Apple's fault, and only they can fix it. Demand it of them: http://bugreporter.apple.com

To answer your question: Demand that Apple do it. It is entirely up to them. AC3 passthrough is outside the scope of a codec or movie importer and falls entirely within the realm of the application (Quicktime Player).

GBOOKER  Giving you the same response:

One user reported ( http://trac.cod3r.com/a52codec/ticket/6 ) that this worked, but I have been unable to reproduce his results. Two things lead me to believe that this is the fault of the vob file importer and not the codec.

1) If you open a .mov or a .avi file without the component, then QuickTime Player shows a dialog box telling you that you are missing components. No such dialog with .vob files

2) Even if QuickTime Player is unable to find a codec, it still will shows the audio bars on the right if an audio track is present. No such bars.

I believe that Apple's vob file importer is not doing its job correctly. If this is the case, then the fault lies with them, not with the codec.

P.S. You would receive faster response if you post to the ticket tracking system than if you post here.

GBOOKER  It has nothing to do with refusing to log into multiple accounts simultaneously, it is a matter of multiple logins per service required a massive rewrite of the underlying code.

Version 2.0 will support multiple logins per service, and beta of the version is available here:
