Runs really SLOW on a Mac Pro with an ATI X1900 video card and dual 20" LCDs.

AWESOME! Something that allows me to get rid of the busy looking 3D dock. 3D is cool, but that stupid "swirl" thing made it look busy! This app is cool!

For some reason, it kills my Airport Base Station. Using Little Snitch for about an hour will make the the signal weak and eventually lose the Base Station completely. The only way to get it back is resetting the Base Station. After disabling Little Snitch, I have not had a problem.

Yes... I did. Check out the Apple Discussions:

I'm not the only one!

Now they just need to fix the graphics glitches that Mac Pro w/ X1900 users are experiencing. It was so bad, I had to revert back to Tiger! I already miss Leopard :(

Are you SURE this is the same issue? Most artifacts can be seen in a screen shot. When I do a screen shot, they go away. Did you read the URL in my first post? My warrenty expires on this thing in like 10 days!!!

For kicks I ran Applejack in case it works better than MainMenu. It didn't help. Neither does adjusting the color profles or gamma.

Yes, I use MainMenu to batch process all my system cleaning tasks quite regularly. Once I get Leopard, I'm going to do a system enema and hope that clears this glitch.

I installed this hoping it would solve the random pixel artifact issues I've been having. It didn't help. Here's more info on what I am referring to:

http://echeng.com/journal/2006/12/09/ati-radeon-x1900-xt-macpro-artifacts/

It's the weirdest thing. It only started happening a couple months ago. I suspect Apple needs better drivers for this card. It's not heat related either. I can erase the artifacts with a white window OR setting my screens to a lower resolution. Annoying!

This software lags BIG TIME. If you leave the application to do something else, then come back to it, you get the spinning beach ball for a few seconds. It's not the most intuitive application to use either. Not very good for $800 software. I expected better from this company.

Good to know I'm not the only one seeing this. If they don't update it soon, I will uninstall the beta. These issues are highly annoying.

I dunno about anyone else, but ever since I installed this beta of Safari, other weird things are happening on my Mac Pro. Yahoo Messenger isn't working properly... people miss my messages... and when they do actually get them and reply... I keep having to scroll down to read them. iChat has a significant delay when sending messages now too. Anyone else experiencing this???

Game does not work properly on a 14" iBook G4. As soon as you choose the first demo level and it begins, the back ground stays the same as the one from the level choice screen. And the bear falls off an invisible cliff. Unplayable. However, plays fine on a Mac pro in the same household.

Doesn't work... All I get is the little blue question mark where the image should be.

What's the point of this, if you can't customize the text?

I agree... get rid of those old reviews! "Control Strip"? I haven't seen that since OS 9!!! This software is great! I've been needing to take breaks and get away from the Mac, my back is messed up from working so many hours in front of the computer. This software does the job!

I stand corrected... I totally missed that pull-down menu. It's not in a "general" tab though. It's in the "Disc Setup" tab at the bottom. Kind of a weird place. A "general" tab would actually make better sense. Thanks though.

Apple should take some lessons from this player. I can actually watch a DVD in 5.1 Surround Sound via optical connection with VLC. Apple DVD Player doesn't have this ability. FFW works better in VLC than DVD Player too.

His site simply showed testing of scan speed. However, in my own testing, VueScan is painfully slow!

Very good test! Nice to see I'm not the only one who's not happy with the speed of this software.

This software is SLOW when previewing on my Canon CanoScan LiDE 30. Preview should be fast and scanning should be slow. They are both the same speed with this software. Unfortunately, now I have to use the junky software that Canon provides. At least the preview works quickly though...

I change the graphics for the Xeon in my mac Pro. However, I wish I could change the widget to F instead of C. :(

Once again another unique screensaver from a cool developer. Well worth the price! I have bought three screensavers from them. Space Wars, Desktop Aquarium and this new Dolphins.

My only negative comment is the fact that the dual monitor support needs some tweaking when in "desktop mode". On my Dual 1Ghz MDD G4 with a Radeon 9800 card, all I get is a while background on the secondary monitor.

Overall, I love the screensavers from these guys. Great stuff! Keep up the great work!
