FREERIDECODING sorry, but we did not receive anything from you.
from what you describe it sounds like a damaged installation (wrong combination of macfuse with burnagain fs). but with this limited info i can only guess. please write again to support.
btw. burnagain dvd is of course available for customers upon request.
there are currently no known issues with burnagain fs (Version 1.0.2)
FREERIDECODING if you do not contact support, nothing can ever be fixed for you. but since nobody else has reported an issue so far i assume it will be a problem specific to your setup. you are welcome to send us the details so we can help you identify the problem.
btw. i am using it myself daily without a single issue. (Version 1.0.2)
...BurnAgain FS uses the ISO9660 rock ridge standard. If you do not use BurnAgain FS from the start, only disks using that standard that are not closed can be appended by BurnAgain FS...
dvd-r and dvd+r are not supported. (Version 1.0.2)
FREERIDECODING Currently there are no known issues with BurnAgain FS.
MacFUSE is not loaded unless you use it.
I wonder how it could affect startup at all. Maybe it was a coincidence with something else.
Verbose mode or Activity Monitor usually can give a quick answer on who is so busy on your system.
Anyway, since I do not check all forums all the time may I ask you to contact freeridecoding support directly if you need further help. (Version 1.0.1)
FREERIDECODING I just want to point out two things regarding your post:
if you do not want to be reminded of an update, just disable the update check in preferences.
second, your assumptions about online activation are not true in several points. like assuming that we will leave people alone if we ever decide to discontinue the product, or assuming that you are not able to save your registration in an offline way to name just a few.
FREERIDECODING please contact freeridecoding support at http://freeridecoding.com/support. we need some more information to help you because of course usually it does not crash ;-) (Version 2.0.2)
If you want to append files to your CDR,CDRW or DVD+RW in the advertised way,
it is recommended to use BurnAgain DVD from the first burn on.
If you want to use another software to burn to the media in a BurnAgain DVD compatible way, please make sure that you burn a ISO9660 rock ridge filesystem and leave the media open for additional sessions. (Version 1.1)
we are doing this for a living. the product was 19.50 and is now 24.50. the upgrade is 9.50. i think that this is quite fair because we have offered a large number of HUGE upgrades (completely reworked interface etc) for free during the last TWO YEARS. now with the change to the DVD generation you have to pay those 9.50 for an upgrade. and there are more things to come for free - as it was before. i think that is really fair.
having that said - you could have contacted us directly and asked for a free upgrade if you purchased just yesterday. as other people did.
i hope you do understand that making all this is a lot of work (Version 1.0)
NONNO I also bought a licence for BurnAgain just over a week again. I'm happy with the product, it does what it says it does, but I feel I've been duped. I have no objection to you charging for your effort. Its the manner in which you did so that sticks in my craw. Why not offer the new version at a special price rather than offering something that's about to become obsolete? (Version 1.0)
FREERIDECODING The corrected dmg file (also working on Panther/10.3) is now online. Panther users, please just download once again. Sorry for the inconvienience and thanks for reporting.
FREERIDECODING I really appreciate any feedback, but it would be helpful if you could post it to the freeridecoding support address as well or use the online feedback form. It is impossible to check any online listing for possible bugreports.
Having that said, memory consumtion is something that actually received distinct testing and i am not aware of any problem on the 10.3 or 10.4 systems tested, nor did i receive any such reports from users.
It would be great if you could elaborate what you mean precisely. (How do you know about memory consumption? During one or several burns? Even before that? What system? Could it be that you just have not enough space left on your macosx partition to create the image for the files to burn?)
FREERIDECODING It is ok if you do not like it, but you are wrong on several actually obvious points.
I would say it would be just fair to try things really out before posting negative reviews. And it would be fair if you would not just claim things that are not true.
Concerning the UI - it is actually the thing we got the most positive feedback for. (Version 1.5.3)
