Sorry if my firmness seems rude to you, I was in a hurry when I post my review... I'm actually in contact with the developer regarding this issue. MCC 3.1.2 was working fine for me too on the same setup prior to enabling the birthday calendar option. So maybe this problem is related to this recent change I made within MCC. But I'm not the only one having this issue with this version. If you visit another software tracker site, you will see other users with the exact same problem. All seems to be waiting for support or a new version to solve it. I'll post back and revised my review as soon as this issue is solved. |

I second that : give us the little heart back, I miss it... Or give us the choice of icon? |

I have to agree with others regarding version 3.1. I'm not sure I like the new direction the developper takes with MCC. The beauty of previous versions of was that it's (almost) invisible and unobstrusive. MCC running like an app (with Dock icon and menu) is just too much for me, even with the new possibilities it may bring. If possible, the developper should give us the option to run MCC as menu item only like before. I will stick to version 3.0.6 for now, hoping and waiting for the best. |

Media Indexer is a simple and easy to use catalog app with a small footprint and a clean interface. Price and feature fit my needs perfectly. Version 2.4 indexes fine on Leopard (10.5.1) but every time an index is selected, the name is highlighted automatically and the app crashes instantly. Also, Media Indexer won't remember window size and position, at each launch it reverse back to default. It would also be nice if we could change the size of the icons and text in the sidebar. |

This software don't hold the comparison with Calorie King. But... Calorie King is more expensive and have some display glitches in Leopard for now (at least for me). |

I noticed the higher Canadian price too when I checked out. But I choose the US currency and paid it via PayPal. That way, the price was just "right". You could do the same with a credit card I guess... |

Tried the demo with version 3.1.6 and 3.1.7 and tested it several times but Awaken couldn't wake my iMac G5 from sleep, even upon a clean reinstall. Too bad... Price is good, the UI is gorgeous and the dev seems devoted but Awaken don't work for me and time slips by... I need to be up on time tomorrow morning so I'll keep on with the trusty (and for now, free) Aurora... |

I'm a NewsFire and NetNewsWire Lite user. I've also used Vienna in the past. News reader is a crowded field in Mac apps. But Postino seems well tought out, I like the feed/web toggle button. I'll give it a try... |

There's an upgrade path for version 2 users in MenuCalendarClock. From the developer : "Just choose "upgrade" from the MenuCalendarClock "gear" menu. This takes you to our store and gives you the upgrade price." Hope that helps... |

As a recent purchaser (early September), I find such practice hard to support too. I emailed the dev about this and I'm waiting for an answer. But I don't think I will pay for a full price upgrade after only 7 weeks of using the version 2.7.X. |

Last night, I emailed the developper asking for Leopard compatibility and the answer was "we should be releasing an update very soon". Well, I didn't expect THAT soon! Kudos to Yazsoft for this quick release, the last piece of essential software I use is now ready for Leopard. |

I don't have any need with the apps in this promo but I own other software from Yellow Mug and this developer rocks and is an asset to the Mac community. |

I tried the demo a while ago with a 7.3Gb InDesign job containing 126 links. LinkOptimizer optimized the files down to 2Gb in about 20 minutes (including a backup of the original files and applying a slight sharpen mask to optimized images). Pretty impressive! In fact, Link Optimizer was faster doing that than InDesign packaging the job to the desktop for DVD burning. |

Awesome! I was hoping for LinkOptimizer to appear on MU Promo and here it is! If your are working on projects with lot of large images (magazine, catalogue, brochure, annual report...) LinkOptimizer is an invaluable tool. I prefer archiving images in their original size but LinkOptimizer is great for optimizing files before sending them to the printer on DVD. |

Speed Download is the kind of application that when you start to use it, you can't live without. No more random downloaded files on the desktop that need to be manually managed or sorted. SD keeps everything organized according to my preferences. If like me you're downloading a lot (I download and try a lot of software actually), SD is an invaluable tool. SD is fast to launch and very stable and is so feature packed that its prefs options can be a little intimidating at first sight. But SD's capabilities are well worth the effort. And on some occasions, the download speed boost is simply incredible (YMMV depending your connection and the hosting server). However, I would like to see some more managing options implemented in a future release : more smart folder criteria and a way of indicating if a download as been viewed/opened would be a really nice addition. |

I have to agree. Calendar in the Menu bar is so much useful than with the widget. What's great is that MCC stays open as long as you want on top of other apps. |

Great to see this here at this price! I was precisely using the demo since one week after seeing the review at MacApper. The ability to show events from iCal in the Menu bar is really handy. |

This sweet little app keeps adding features and getting better over time. But as much as I love Transmission's interface, ease of use and stability, I am always disappointed by the slow download speed I get with it. With the same torrents (and configuration), Azureus is always at least twice faster. I keep trying each new version of Transmission, but I always switch back to Azureus for its speed in spite of its ugly and slow as molasses interface. And in the meantime, I'm impatiently waiting for uTorrent port on OS X... |

I bought it at full price a couple of months ago and I don't regret it. This is a really beautiful and useful app. At this price, go get it without hesitation! |

Great, great game. I was playing Majhong back in OS 9 days... and now Danladgames has brought back the beloved Majhong on my Mac with style. Sweet! |

Is it 5 or 10 tile sets? On MUpromo it's 5 but on the Danladgames web site it's 10. Is the promo a crippled version of the game? |

I dunno. I don't have time to really try it today and frankly I find it a bit overwhelming. This is an app where you really need more than one day to play with, feel comfortable and evaluate correctly. I can see all the benefits in comparison to the Finder but I'm not sure I really need all this at home... Maybe at work... But I'm on holiday right now, so... ;-) |

At Chris Walken: I'm afraid that it'll be the case. That's probably why path Finder is on MUPromo: boosting slowing sale now and charging an upgrade fee when Leopard is out... |

Tabs, Drop Stack and live preview are killer features. And guess what, Path Finder is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” since version 4.6! |

I tried the demo and I must say that I like it a lot. The possibility to add my own custom fields and attachment to entries are winning features for me (espacially useful with software licenses). I'm now thinking about switching from Wallet... |
