FITZAGE  Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

Having the ability to access my servers directly from the Finder has saved me a lot of time. I combined this with Changes.app (for synching changed files) and TextMate and kicked Coda and Espresso to the curb.

The only problems I've had so far with version 2 were the fault of the server not properly supporting the FTP spec for a client of mine who uses shitty web hosting.

FITZAGE  I was happy to see that this now supports my older Intellimouse Explorer, which 5.1 did not. However, it gives bogus battery readings, and when told to remind me in a week or something, it pops right back up. Sometimes, deselecting the checkbox to tell it not to remind me works, but after restarting my computer it kept spawning a whole bunch of notifications, and unchecking the checkbox would only make them disappear briefly.

It's very annoying. I'm disabling it for now.

FITZAGE  A couple of years ago, after finally switching to digital cable, I wanted a way to have my eyeTV box change channels on my cable box. Of course this wasn't happening, so I switched to ReplayTV.

I was tired of paying for Replay service, so I went looking for something that would integrate with eyeTV and operate an IR transmitter to change the channels on my cable box.

There are many other things that iEye Captain can do, but this is all I use it for and it does an incredible job.

The one problem I've had, the developer has been very responsive about and has told me exactly where it fits into the development schedule (although he has since said that it will be in the next build instead of waiting until when he was originally going to fix it).

Granted, it's not perfect because it is beta software. It is amazing that a single developer with a day job has been able to put this kind of work into the project. Kudos!
