Yay! I'm personally super-thrilled to see the new coffee cup icon in the Menubar. So, +1 from me! |

I saw an early version of this and missed it on MacZOT... I'll give this a spin and see how it does fare alongside Yojimbo... |

Choice is good, certainly. I'm in favor of that -- and I'm in favor of folks using projects like this to learn programming and so on. I guess I came across a little curmudgeonly because I this doesn't necessarily add anything new to the existing offerings. |

So is this another free version of an existing piece of commercial software? In this case, Xslimmer? Ironically, aren't you also then competing with the free and open source Monolingual? |

This is really tempting, but is a WebKit app really worth $15 let alone $25? I guess I just don't use Backpack enough... |

For the money, I think Yojimbo is a much richer solution for snippets and the like. |

This is a really well-designed and good looking application. I've considered buying this before... this might be the time I do. |

You do need to have ShapeShifter installed first to use this theme. It won't work without it. |

I guess deals are a good thing, but some credit to MacHeist and MacZOT for inspiration would be appropriate. If that kind of honesty were offered I might have been interested in buying, though I really would prefer apps like Transmit over Fetch and Fission over Amadeus... that said, Cocktail and Little Snitch are great apps and make this deal very attractive. |

This is a fantastic application. It does a great job of being a generally useful color collecting application and then makes it easier to pull down colors from its website and get them into Photoshop, Illustrator or wherever else. This is really a great deal. |

I'd like to contradict and raise the rating of this app... I actually find it very innovative and great way to collect data and photos and associate them with people. Check out this video: http://memoryminer.com/software/video.html It's a great demonstration of how to make the most of this app. |

Yeah, I really like Yep. Much better than Yojimbo in terms of actual document management. |

On the surface it seems like a really nice, simple GUI for SVN. Hard to say how it compares with svnX from intitally playing with it, but it does seem stable, well made and the View Changes interface is quite good. I don't think I would pay $99 for it, and $59 still seems steep. If it were going for maybe $39 I'd bite -- as well as if I knew how active the developer was in maintaining and improving the application. I've got 11 hours left until the promo expires; I'll decide by then. |

Why not just use Bonjour over iChat? |

I think that's a problem with Gmail and not this app... after all, it's the exact same experience that you get when you just open Gmail in Safari... |

The implications are no different than if you use Gmail in your regular web browser. All this app does is open a separate instance of the rendering engine -- and only loads the Gmail URL. |

I've used WebMail.app for a long time and I'm very happy to see that Ben's picked up the project and advanced it. I'd prefer that he also made his efforts open source, since the basic functionality he added would be useful for any WebKit project: http://webkit.pbwiki.com |

More interface ideas are always a good thing, but it seems like this could have been built as a plugin for Quicksilver -- even one that you charge for. I'll certainly give it a shot, but Quicksilver is actually pretty straight-forward to setup, so saying that Valet is "nearly zero configuration" isn't much of a selling point. Also, I'd contend that, ignoring the attention-leveraging bit, Todos provides a more straight forward install and use. I'll still give this one a go, but I doubt I'll shell out $25 for it. |

Hmmm, I think Tubular might be better. Though it's for YouTube only... |

While I'm all about choice... and I generally think this app looks cool, how is it better than Paparazzi!? |

There's at least 3 or 4 of these app deleters now that followed AppZapper. It doesn't really matter if you make it free; there's already folks doing that. If you can make it better -- all the power to you -- I'm all for choice. But when it seems that this one is just reimplementing AppZapper and making it free to spite AppZapper, that just seems like a waste of time. If you go open source, well, maybe there's something to be said for that. |

This seems similar to DeskDecal... do you have support for multiple desktops? That's the one problem I had with DeskDecal. http://www.mistatree.org/www.mistatree.org/Freeware/DeskDecal/Index.html |

Totally - choice is good. I already have a license to AppZapper, but I do take your point -- competition is a good thing! ;) Good luck with AppDelete -- I'll definitely watch it's development. |

Besides being free, I'm not sure what the purpose of this application is with solutions like AppZapper already out there. If it's simply to offer choice, ok, I can accept that -- but I do hope that it wasn't done to solve a problem that's already been solved. |

This looks like a great idea, but I can imagine that hearing "That was..." or whatever after every song would become pretty annoying after a couple hours (if not a couple songs!). I would love to see you compile a list of DJ "sayings" that DJ's use to announce songs and then draw from this list at random when announcing songs. You could even vary the amount of information spoken, sometimes listing just the artist and track, other times listing the album, year or whatever other information is available. |
