Spell Catcher X	Aug 31 2009	ETEARL ROBOTANK: I wish it were that simple. However, Spell Catcher is not working on some of my 32 bit applications. Since updating to OS 10.6 Spell Catcher Input Method component is identifying errors in text but will not paste the corrections into the documents of some applications. The most notable application Spell Catcher is not working correctly under is Thunderbird 2.0.0.23. Furthermore each time I go through the Finder the Spell Catcher Input Method component is replaced by the flag. (Version 10.3.2)		0

Unfortunately, though Spell Catcher apparently works with Snow Leopard, it won't load into 64-bit applications until the developers rewrite its Input Method component. For now, you can tell any apps you need Spell Catcher in to open in 32-bit mode. I don't think this will be a huge problem for me at the moment, as the writing apps I use are all still 32-bit (Scrivener, Nisus Writer Pro, NoteBook).
