	Jan 11 2007	ELEVATORIUM I share the same problem with the dev, so an app like this is useful. I have two Mad Dog external cases that for the life of me will not respond to any preference to keep it from spinning down. I'm pretty sure it's a firmware issue, but I cannot find firmware for these cases. There's also a very oldschool freeware app called XSleep that does essentially the same thing as No Spin does, but it's been long out of development and does not run on Mactels. If anyone's interested in it, let me know and I'll upload it somewhere. (Version 0.1)		0

iTunes Remote Control	Jul 8 2006	ELEVATORIUM A dynamite app! Why hasn't anyone thought of this sooner? My eMac is in charge of pumping out my music through an iMic to my stereo, and being able to work with iTunes remotely with this is extremely ideal. And yes, I like the "useless" progress bar, hehe. Two requests, if I may? Make the progress bar a lil' more appealing to the eye, and please be able to parse stream info., then I'd be so set, it's unbelievable! (Version 1.2.4)		0

MONDELE Someone did think of this before: iHam on iRye. I haven't used this remote control program, so I won't compare their functionality, etc. But it's been done...

GCOGHILL Although I have not used iHoR, it seems another one of those programs that require a client & server app to be running. What's great about iTRC is that it works on it's own.

Not sure what other features iHoR might have as it seems to no longer be developed.

There are a few other iTunes remote apps out there as well, but again require client server apps, or all sorts of time consuming database synchs, or unweildly interfaces etc.

I like iTRC because it's small and it just works out fo the box.
